so i have had this thought hanging over my head,
i wanted to wait 30 days and delete my account and start a new one (just for fun)
and i was curious on would i be absolutley destroyed in todays meta if i ran f2p? or would i have to spend
money just to stand a chance. I realize pixonic a complete 「female dog」 about money and will take any chance to get some,
but are they THAT greedy where f2p players cant survive without spendin' some dough?

This big problem with the lower leagues these days is all of those deals that sell full mark two builds for cheap. Lower league players have bought these in droves and thus the lower leagues are filled with level fringe meta builds. If you want to start over with no spending, you will definitely have a rough road ahead.

I would keep what I have & try giveaways in droves. I have won tons of meta in contest & even today won a Lynx and another contest for the stake. 2). If you do decide to spend do the math and wait for a great deal with pre-lvled stuff as 079 stated above. 3). Pixonic has changed the drop rates for returnee, low level, and starting players to have a higher "good" drop rate %. EDIT: This will effect sales offers as well. |

Tons of Mk3 tankers who got into place before Pixonic dampened tanking (Pixonic stupidly announced when they would slow tanking to the date.), this allowed many to intentionally drop & stay low ranked as long as they don't win too many in a row. |

Sorry, don't want to hijack the topic but let's look at grinding. Grinding as an F2P in the past was a thing, you could fill the ranks while gaining commodities & items.
Now... drone commod task give 5 per task when the lowest is 40 & the top being 1k. This is way past grinding & damn near impossible. I used to tout being able to grind anything in War Robots if you played enough years ago if you looked at some of my 2017 post. Grinding commods & drops are a thing of the past, Pixonic has nerfed the grind so bad it is hard to be a full time F2P. You will have to buy some 0.99$ U.S.D sales at some point to reach at a minimum an equilibrium that you can tolerate.
EDIT: A lot of this has to do with heavy tankers & not with true F2P grinders. Once again, others suffer because of the actions of a few tarded 「multiple dookie delivery chute」 that Pixonic either refuses to pluck out OR can not pluck out due to focusing on the next scam instead of fixing what they already have before moving forward.

Sorry, don't want to hijack the topic but let's look at grinding. Grinding as an F2P in the past was a thing, you could fill the ranks while gaining commodities & items. And i still became very powerful and dangerous to all reds. i almost want to stop playing because of this problem but i love the nostalgia of flanking the enemy team on moon with my taran rogatka. i feel so happy when playing and wish it could go back to the good old days. i don't mind spending a few extra dollars but pixonic has now made the game into something i never wanted it to be. But then again look back on the old days when the fujin was ruled out by the haechi and now the haechi was meta. The game has always progressed like this. one bot is overpowered and crazy then comes the nerf hammer and a new bot gets released. But pix has taken it too far and now has made more people leave than ever. (don't quote me on this because this is only my opinion based soley from my experience) |

You would be better off chatting BB who runs rogz for the pogz as a snub to meta-tards. EDIT: i would look towards weapons specific Legendary Pilot to help with any new builds not possessing a pilot for that bot. Yet another annoying factor why the original Legendary Pilot were worth thier salt. Pixonic would see where a Pilot to that bot might benefit & would add it later down the line. NOW... before a bot has even registered any stats on LIVE servers it has 2-3 Legendary Pilot...this is BS. |

totally agree. i occasionally play on my mini account in steam. it's currently in diamond league with about 200 victories and my opponents's stats is almost identical to my opponents in my main account(thousands of victories, all mk2/mk3)
