I'm on the fence. I think I'd rather save my credits for upgrades and Baron when he comes around. Ultimately I'd probably upgrade to Boar but RMs are still bugged and my Fei is maxed. Also, a bit ambivalent about using my extra Pilot Marks now on him. Still mulling it over though.

My advice is to get Boar at this fantastic bargain price whilst you can, because : - There's no guarantee Baron will be had for credits, since another Legendary sniper was already given for free.
- Mortars are still potent even as Rare items, but with the update any boost to their firepower is welcome.
- Epic and Legendary artillery weapons haven't yet been released, but prolly will in the future. You'll wish you had the best pilot available to main them (especially without having to shell out 3.840 A-coins for this privilege).
- You don't have to use Pilot Marks if you don't want to. If in a few months you still find no use for him, just let him rot in your inventory. No big deal.
- My Fei is maxed too, and she's been put to good use. Her Pilot Marks have long been amortised, thus using more Pilot Marks into a superior artillery pilot shouldn't be considered redundant. This will be just a further investment.

Never mind I found it in the blue orb on the right. I didn't have over 1 million credits to roll like 16 times to get him on the last try. So I rolled four times. Nope Will try again tomorrow, maybe.

I've already got the Epic RM pilot - forget her name - fully maxed. Yes, Legendary will give a bit more HP, but since I run RM on my KS, speed is more important than HP.

Yeah this time I was less lucky on both of my accounts, and Boar ended up costing my around 1 million credits on each account 😅 But that's resources well spent, no sweat 😎 |

15% more general weapon damage, 7% more artillery damage and 15% more HP (I always forget these stats for pilot types). Folks can decide if that is currently worth the credits/A-Coins and the pilot marks to max.  But I would note that if you look at the conversion rates for A-Coins to Credits, the 85,000 credit gacha is actually a very poor deal if you have spin all 16 times. That's 1,360,000 credits total, which requires 12,720 A-Coins to buy in the store. Because you can't do the reverse and buy A-Coins with credits, it all depends on what you have more of. But for a more optional Legendary pilot like this it is worth keeping in mind. Buying him later for 3,810 A-Coins isn't actually a bad deal in comparison. I like that they finally are releasing the pilot for A-Coins at the same time that the credit gacha goes live (although there was a half day discrepancy on announcing he was in the store). Before they did the gacha a few days before and folks would spend credits thinking the pilot might not be available for months still. Now it is a straight up choice which makes the gacha a nice bonus. Hope they keep doing it this way going forward. |

My Fei is almost maxed, and im still not sure if RM's are going to be in rotation normally. I have plenty of 6 star items I can level up..It gets kinda pricey once you hit 6-5......so I'll probably pass.

For me it used to be credits were easy to get and A-Coins were scarce. But as I got into an endgame hangar, that situation reversed. Too much of my stuff is above R6, for instance I just took my DL16 to 6.6 which cost like 550,000 credits. And my priorities, maxing my 6.3 Redeemer, my 6.3 EMR16 and 6.1 EMR12 will take millions of credits. Even with the battle pass and the 2.6M credits I've saved up, that is a tall order. I think your analysis is solid overall, but it the credit v. A-Coins analysis varies by player and where they are in the game. |

The deal only has 2 days left, and unless there's something I'm missing, you get 800k for the month. I burned enough credits for 8 trys, broke my bank, and didn't end up with a pilot. |

The promotional pop up for the Battle Pass which just showed up on my screen says 500k + 620k credits, so above a million. However it appears that only the 620k tranche is unlocked in one go, the rest being earned throughout the month. It's unfortunate that you couldn't get the Boar within the budget you set yourself 😕 But at least you know when to stop. As S1E1 pointed out, some other credit expenses have to be kept in mind (e.g. upgrades of highly ranked up weapons/mech). |

TBH, even when Boar is offered for A-coins, I doubt I will get him. The grind to level him up is just too much for me, especially when I have other Legendaries to rank up - well just Myna is left to bring to R6. But, I'd rather save my resources and wait for Baron to be available. Hopefully by then, I'll have cloned my EMR12 and maxed my Bastion.
For me, RMs is still mostly a farming tool. Yes, there is utility when playing with humans, but it's hard as it's mostly used to keep the enemy humans moving and into blue sights. I feel that for long term though, for those big open maps, it's better to run JR or Helix builds. Those Helix wielding AI are no joke!

Koalabear - He's available for A-Coins now. They did a simultaneous release (well half day later) with the start of the credit gacha event. Hopefully they'll do the same when Baron becomes available so you can choose what you want to spend.

Thanks, I didn't bother looking so didn't know. TBH, they should have added the Nade launcher under Artillery. Why have only one type of weapon in a class all by itself - twice!
