... and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Currently running my anti-angler build with the Jaw, because it REALLY hurts them. I have missed the teleportation feature, being able to teleport out of a bad situation and reappear 500m away is a lifesaver. Also, I just love healing, so having a healer back in my hangar is great. So good in fact, it might become a permanent edition. What is everybody else running modules and pilot wise? Is the APPM3ETER still the best, or is there a new pilot besides Jerry Fortune, who I remember to be quite bad. I am running 3x BUs.

I could never really get along with Demeter and hardly ran it. I levelled one not too long ago to try because I was still regularly coming across ones which seamed really strong and capable (and some impossibly hard to kill ones!) but then every time I tried mine I seemed to have a knack for regularly getting caught in the middle of a melee and then it went down really easily and quickly. Granted I never finished maxing pilot skills or found the best weapon set up for it before I gave up on it, or, maybe didn`t even play it long enough to get good with it. I still try it now and again when there`s a healing task and I have thought about Jaws on it too but they`re not levelled - and currently about 90th on the upgrade list.

I also find myself caught in a melee situation quite often, but I'm working on trying to avoid that so I guess I need more practise. I too have encountered ridiculously tanky Demeters, and I think that was down to the old drones, so it might be different now. That's why I'm retrying a lot of old builds.

Wolfblood7Demeter is too easy to dismiss (myself included.) In today's meta you can do FAR worse than messin' around with a Demeter. The teleport can be amazing. I'm glad you had a Sheriff to level because every bit of health helps. I run App-meter but adriannnnnn likes Jerry. I suppose one might use Jerry earlier in the game and Appmeter for later when you can give nice heals to Titans.

Oliver Kloesov thanks. Also I would just like to clarify this is my own Sheriff Demeter I won fair and square, not the pity one they gave out on that livestream to everyone.

healers are fun bots, changes the dynamic of your match. Demeters and Menders are ferocious once you get their mechanics down and really let loose with them.

Demeter is one of my favorites, and I think it has only gotten better with the neutering of drones in update 8.8. The healing is good but the main draw of the bot to me is the teleport + Absorber Shield, as that can really sway engagements. Demeter can influence a duel, help stranded teammates cross no man’s land, and do the classic role of escorting titans against Seraph and Hawk. Also as you said, the ability can be a get out of jail free card if death is imminent.
Jerry Fortune is a good pilot (+20% damage to you and teammates is no small amount), but I personally run APPM-3TR. The grey damage repair is not as good as Mender obviously, but it is noticeable and makes a big difference to your survivability over time. Which pilot is better depends on if you want a more aggressive, team-based approach, or focus on reliability and your own survival.
As for modules, Demeter benefits from the usual culprits, like Nuclear and Repair Amplifier. However, APPM-3TR builds may benefit from Immune Amplifier or Heavy Armor Kit due to their emphasis on survivability. Balanced Unit should serve you well.

I love healing too Wolfblood7. That's why I've chosen the 5th slot for the Medic bots for this year. Looking forward to running my Demeter next month.

My Demeter has held the 'healer' spot in my set since I got it. I've only ever had Jerry, but he's better than nothing. Currently running maces on mine

Wolfblood7 - Sorry to mention it but it occurs to me that Trixie is a viable option as well. Hmmm....

From what I've heard, the jerry damage buff isn't bad at all, wheras the appmeter grey heal was nerfed really badly, its much less noticable than marie l'eclair. Both pilots are fair picks, but my demeter is level 5 so idk xD

You have to be careful because the PP can give you a false sense of security. But with practice, you get better at teleporting to where you're needed.

Well that's not surprising, just look at that name P..P.... and always written in what color? ... purple.

Trixie is still under testing - I noticed no difference with Jerry Fortune, and I experienceed the minimal grey healing from APPM3TR which was mediocre. I've run Trixie a few times less than the others, but she has gotten me out of some situations where I would have died with her healing.

Yeah, APPM-3TR’s grey healing is underwhelming, but it does add up over time. I mainly use my Demeter in TDM, where I just teleport between pockets of teammates and only lightly engage the enemies. There, the slow burn of the grey healing definitely becomes noticeable after a minute or two. Maybe that is a bit too long for you, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
