MA: The Great Shotgun 8 Debate.

This is my Shadow with SG8 and MVP Neymar.




I can't remember how much damage my SG8's were doing pre-update but I think they were like 79k or something, so the SG8 did get a bit of a buff, but not nearly in line with everything else. I think they now hit like a really powerful 8EN weapon and not like a 10 or 12EN weapon anymore.

I do better in CPC with the Shadow and I do better against humans than against AI. AI reacts too fast from that first hit from behind, while humans tend to like me hit 2 - 3 times before reacting. Some players are good though, like today I ambushed an Orion that was kicking my butt with wall-hits and when I successfully reached him with my Shadow, his reaction plus his buffed HP meant I left him with a sliver before he toasted me. So annoying, but it happens.

TBH, this is my most fun and most challenging mech right now. ANYONE can rack up the kills with DLs and EMs and RGs, but it takes skill and experience to successfully pull of an ambush against bigger and tougher opponents.
