Hi all,
I want to convert from a support hangar to a full-on beacon defending hangar. I'm talking huge, tanky, slow, bots that can be dropped onto beacons and hold them down for as long as possible. I still want this hangar to be fun, so I don't want there to be any duplicate bots.
Currently, I have the following 5 bots in mind: Weyland, Fenrir, Revenant, T-Falcon, and Bulwark. If Sirius is released, I was thinking that would make a great titan for this lineup as well.
Any thoughts on these selections and possible builds? Should the builds be primarily midrange (~500m) to stay as versatile as possible or be more geared towards close quarters combat?

for beacon defending, you'll want to have close combat gear
for bots, in my opinion, weyland and fenrir are the only ones that you listed that might do well in leagues higher than you. Revenant is more of an ambush bout, T-Falcon might live for a bit, and bulwark is probably the weakest that you listed.
i think that the blast shotguns(cudgel, mace, and hammer), puncher, and sonics should do decent for holding beacons. the homing rust missiles is also a good choice but i cant really say much because i never used those weapons and i haven't play beacon rush in a long time

One thing you might consider is one of Oliver Kloesov 's Loki builds. I'll warn you, though. It's a green crack addict. |

Mender can do both situationally w/ the right pilot. It remains to be seen what happens with drones, but before the rework the armadillo could be stacked up to make Mender (and other stuff) extremely tanky.

I had a bulwark in my hanger, a bit lackluster when it comes to holding beacons. I definitely suggest invader.

When it comes specifically to holding beacons, my mind goes to:
- Loki
- Skyros
- Fenrir
- Invader
- Scorpion/Seraph (doesn’t directly hold beacons, but still makes capping one really hard)
- Angler/Ravana (often cannot keep beacons blue, but still is a good defensive bot)
- Hellburner/Shell (well-built ones are really tough, and their abilities hurt a lot)
- Demeter/Mender (usually need a teammate, but can do it on their down)
- Luchador/Arthur
- Indra (often cannot keep beacons blue, but still is a good defensive titan)
