A couple days ago the robots and weapons were at a discount of 4x upgrade speed. Last week pilots were 60% off upgrade level etc. I have seen titan upgrades at a discount they poof, regular price.

So is there a set time (ie every second Monday of the month the pilots go on upgrade sale) or a pattern that discounts on upgrades will happen in a certain order? Or is it whenever pix decides to make upgrade discounts.

For instance I played underground fortress for a while and every Monday was resource collection day. That was the day to plan for collecting resources etc.

Nope. The discount events are random. But if the leaderboard has a particular event, the discount for that event will usually occur during the leaderboard event period.

The leaderboard will usually commence 1-2days after its announced in the leaderboard page. So you can sort of prepare yourself in advance for what's coming next.

For ftp or low spenders, the best use of your resources are to wait for both the leaderboard and discount event to start before spending your resources. The same goes to using your black market keys, event chest tokens. That way you can at least get abit more resources from the leaderboard either by positioning higher in the leaderboard or simply getting the multiple milestone rewards.
