...but not for the reason you think.  So far, I would say this thing is actually balanced. The weapons aren't too strong, and the robot has relatively low health (200k). Great mechanic they have introduced here - I have visions of the Avengers Endgame ending happening in War Robots lol. This thing is going to be a nightmare for the user, as you have to go into flight which activates the first portal and land in hostile territory to form the second. And out of the 20 or so times I have done this, NOBODY has ever gone through the portal to help me. Well, its going to take time I guess, and people need to learn like with Fafnir's shield. I am enoying it so far. Day one and I have seen 3 in thee wild apart from me, one was meetjoeblack. |

Already ran into a mk2 one yesterday. I saw it and thought wow, haven't seen a Nightingale for a while cause that's what it looked like in the air. Thing landed next to me with sonics and wiped me out. LoooL.

Well, I dont know about you, but I refuse to use their portals, not only because Imugi sounds like emoji and that sounds stupid, but because I have learned to mostly ignore teamwork, since for the most part nobody after all these years seems to know what the 「fluffernutter」 that means lmao

Yeah, sometimes an occasional teammate will appear and help, but most of the time I feel like I am fighting alone or the only one who cares about beacons. This is what I'm getting at - and I completely agree with you ѻﻭɼﻉ - teamwork in this game died long ago. I think the Imugi's main use will be (surprise surprise) the whale squads. Now they can all link to one in Spear Khepris, watch it zoom to enemy spawn and drop a portal they can go through. Bam. Instant spawn raid. |

Come on Wolfblood, stop underestimating new meta bots when they have not caught on yet! You thought Fafnir, Kephri, and Skyros were kinda meh, and look how those turned out! I’m personally just waiting until these bots get stress tested in squads and the general public learns how to use the portals if an Imugi happens to be on their team. Then we shall see if this robot is a nightmare or not.

Does the portal appear as soon as you take off? I imagined it was only once you landed and, if so, I guess the problem is the portal only opening when you land. You`re amongst the other blues when you take off and a short time later you land and the portal opens. By this time, though, everyone has wondered away from the start position rather than just standing around twiddling their thumbs.

Look at the ability stats. It has 8 seconds stealth, steath on takeoff and landing, so more like 10 seconds stealth, and an ability booster brings your cooldown to 9 seconds! For comparison, every other flying bot (except Ao Quin, which we can safely ignore) has a base cooldown between 17 and 22 seconds, wheras this thing starts at 12. It's stealthed more than not, and with full firepower to boot (unlike Nightingale, which gets no firepower in air and still has a longer cooldown, even with Virginia). This thing is going to be insane, and then it's cooldown will be nerfed to 22 seconds. |

An issue I see, is that unless your teammate(s) watch your flight to determine the exit - an unknown element may be a the end that they are not prepared to face. Or they see the exit point and know death is imminent. The Imugi pilot needs to be aware of surroundings and place the wormhole in a spot that offers cover.
A message to the team that highlights a wormhole is available would be helpful. Along with glowing markers of entry and exit.
Definitely a Squad on Comms type of robot to use.

GREAT POINT!! just ran a game with my first sighting of the new bot, on my team thankfully. Besides the points Taboga73 mentioned, on the other end of it, the bots have to sit and wait at the first entrance for the bot to land and open the other end. It has a lot of pros and cons, biggest being timing. That’s gonna be it’s pearl and Achilles heal. like mentioned above, AWARENESS. Know a portal is opening soon and see if it’s advantageous to go. Keep an eye on that one for sure. |

Then we shall see if this robot is a nightmare or not. Since I created the OP a few people have been daring enough to go through the portal. I think around three. So maybe I was jumping to conclusions and underestimating the IQ of players on the battlefield. Lol. Also, I never understimated Fafnir or Skyros. Khepri I did, and I was proved wrong after they exploded into the meta. Fafnir I always said was insane, and it was my favourite bot before the nerf. Skyros I said was lacking, and IMO it still is, it never became meta properly, just became a bot people ran because it was new, and it dropped off when the Angler was released. I still think Imugi is pretty weak overall, but my theory is they wait about a week then buff the newest bot into oblivion. I swear, and would bet money on the fact that they did that with Fainters. Mine sucked, then suddenly the next they they were OP. So if we do see something happen like that in the next few days I will not be surprised. |

Believe it or not it still goes down to Anglers, Seraphs and the Mars. Titans with the Gargantua and Pantagruel hurt as well, because Imugi has no defense points while in stealth. There are plenty of counters to it so far. By weapon power it is weaker than the Skyros, and unless the new lasers get silent buffs (which is very possible) I don't think Imugi will become anything other than an annoying bot that you have to chase more to kill. |
