I’ve been having such fun with my tanky Invader that I decided I wanted to build a Fenrir to play around with. Unfortunately, I have a conundrum. While looking at pilot skills I came across Daredevil and Traditionalist. On one hand, it seems like quite the sacrifice to lose the firepower of the main gun. On the other, I’d be able to recoup a fair amount via Daredevil AND get a unbelievable amount of health added on. If I mounted an Immune Amp (or two!) I’d have a truly obscene amount of health to burn through. I have to wonder if the damage would be at least equivalent to what I have with my Invader. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m seriously considering the Daredevil/Traditionalist approach. Thoughts?

I wouldn't. Well, actually, that depends. If you have a Bernadette pilot and then use one of these two skills, you don't get her Legendary Pilot ability because it's tied to the Fenrir active ability being engaged. Does that make sense? Like, running Traditionalist gets you 25% more durability but gives up the Bernie damage reduction.
Plus you end up with what is basically a chonky slow Rogakta.
But if you're not running a Bernadette, and you're okay with giving up the heavy weapon, then try it.

Meh, dont give up top weapon and dont give up ability to swap between speed and fire power, as that oscillation option makes Fenrir more versatile for travel and combat. Make up for firepower and durability other ways.

Was just coming on to say “never mind.” More research indicated the loss of the defense was bad mogumbo.
