Any guess as to when Plarium will bless us with an implant removal discount? I’m hoping New Year’s, but I admit that’s doubtful.
The postponement makes me think Plarium’s retooling it too. I wouldn’t be surprised if the discount wasn’t as big or in the playerbase’s favor.
I’ve got a whole lot of pilots to rework.

The implant removal discount's ETA is the same as the new mech/weapon release mechanism, i.e. don't hold your breath 😒

I wish i could quote the source of my information, but someone from Plarium said each time they implement the discount it causes a system crash. So they are working on an update that will elevate the issue. In other words no discount untill we decide we want to debug this. Its not like they can just eliminate the cost permanently....no money in that.

I'm highly skeptical of the official explanation. They've completely frozen the release of legendary pilots. It's now several months past the pace they used to be on. And now this "system crash" stuff. Seems like just a money grab to me.

OMG, I just did a huge 2k A-Coin removal yesterday!!! Arggghhh! I mean I am really excited that it is coming back and we'll have a whole month, but <loud profanity!> This has not been my week on resource and timing, I swear.

I did all my swapping already but took the implant part hit instead of paying with Acoins... I figured ultimately, you get implant parts with time and credits and those are easier to come by than Acoins!

Thanks for posting duke. Wow, I used about 1500 a-coins last week to move implants around. Glad it’s coming back, but still.

I figured ultimately, you get implant parts with time and credits and those are easier to come by than Acoins! Credits? Do you mean buying a blue implant for 10,500 credits in the store and then converting it to 100 scrap? I thought about taking the implant hit as the AC costs are awful, but there are so many implants I want to take up that last, expensive level to be maxed. I automatically get the 3 x 99¢ 5k scrap deals they offer every 3 out of 4 weekends, but it's annoying me that I am buying them so regularly with no end in sight. And I don't buy AC anymore except as part of the battle pass, so I figured the real money economics was actually in favor of using AC. But I only switched out one pilot. |

Same here, swapped about half of the implants and chose the least painful option to me ; i.e. waste implant parts rather than A-coins.
Then again, for those who earn large amounts of A-coins in tournos, the choice isn't so obvious. If I were a big earner, I'd do the opposite and retain parts over coins.
