Update for Hover

I want a Healing Hover,
literally keep EVERYTHING the same... just add either a Mender's button and healing bursts to a Hover

... or ...

BEST option:
give Hover the Demeters healing ability and absorber/reflector shield, no teleporting to allies;
just a smooth Glide to them.




As far as the style of heals goes perhaps NOT AS much grey matter repairs as a Mender, say only 20% restored with a legendary pilot instead of 30%.
(Can't stray too far into Mender/Demeter's lane)



** (because the abilities im seeking already exist in the game, see Nether's development cycle; they added dashes as an afterthought coz it was easier than coming up with a whole new bot mechanic)

Should I say my idea here or not because I made 2 robots and a Titan based off the Hover and I think they would be cool but their not Hover buffs

Don't get me wrong, ima huge Hover fanboy 

To not make too big of an idea as to not merge the thread, I have a few ideas for Hover pilots instead. 

I'll just call them 1,2,3 etc, unless I have a name for them. 

I want to say now that some are clearly better than others, but they are just possibilities. 



1 Escalation
No fuel limit and 1% extra damage every second in air

2 Ariel Refuel
Fuel recharges 50% faster.

3 Agility
Hover flight more oriented forward; to change directions faster and more speed in general.

4 Meteor
Hover gets 30 defense points + 1 point every 5 seconds in air.

5 Disappear
When Hover lands, it gets stealth for 5 seconds.

6 Safe!
When Hover lands, it gets 50 defense points for 5 seconds.

7 Versatile
As long as Hover is in sky, its active module is active, meaning permanent healing, phase shift, shield breaker, etc.

8 Transgression
As long as Hover is in sky, it has shield breaker.

9 Undetectable
As long as Hover is in sky, it has stealth.

10 Quiet takeoff
When ability is activated, Hover has stealth for 5 seconds.

11 Recuperate
Hover has 50% less cooldown.

12 Gung Ho!
When in sky, reload for weapons is 1/2.

13 Transferable Skills
When in sky, weapons get 30% damage increase. When on ground, 30 Defense points.

14 Reverse Psychology
When in sky, 30 defense points. When on ground, 30% damage.

15 Retreat
For 5 seconds after ability, Hover gets 50% speed boost on ground.

16 Charge
Hover thrust has more power based on how long it has pointed in 1 direction.

17 On Ice
When in sky, Hover applies Freeze.

18 Halt
When in sky, Hover applies Lockdown.

19 Control
When in air Hover applies suppression.

20 Angelic
When in air Hover has a healing radius of 70 meters and heals 5% per second.

21 Angelic (V2)
When on Ground Hover has healing radius of 50 meters and restores 5% for 5 seconds.

22 Unbreakable
When in air Hover takes no grey damage and heals 5% per second.

23 Insurgent
If Hover loses 10% hp in 5 seconds then it gets 20% damage boost, 20% speed boost, and 40 defense points for 10 seconds. This stacks.

24 Failsafe
For every weapon Hover loses it gets 50% damage boost and 30 defense points.

25 Out with a bang
When Hover dies it has a 100 meter range explosion doing 20% damage.

26 Out with a bang (V2)
When Hover lands it has a 50 meter radius explosion dealing 10% damage.

27 Uncharted
Hover has stealth until it shoots, recharging 10 seconds after no damage is taken and no output from Hover.

28 Outclassed
if Hover looks at opponent for 10 seconds, then their current weapons match their firepower as a bonus on top of their normal damage.

29 Hunter
If Hover gets opponent down to 50% hp, then the opponent gets lock downed, frozen, and suppressed.

30 Predator
For the 1st 10 seconds firing at anyone, Hover does 20% increased damage. Effect recharges after 10 seconds.

31 Assault
When in sky, for the 1st 5 seconds firing at anyone, Hover gets 50% increased damage. Effect recharges after 10 seconds.

32 Trapper
When Hover is in cooldown, it has 50 defense points and 40% increased damage, but 10 second cooldown.



This is just a list of some possible ideas for pilots.

No. They never will, they never have, and unless I'm wrong, they never do. 

Were just dreaming out loud, with no one here actually able to make a difference. We can bother them, go on strikes, stop buying their stuff, but at the end of the day, their company is growing. look at how much they made last year, and how much they made this year. Were just a few thousand people that came together to complain, or dream, or cry. 

I would honestly like to know if someone can do something. 

Something that will actually do something. 

All we can do is dream. Is it even worth dreaming about? Trying to imagine a better game, and then playing this garbage? Not to sound joking, but why are we still here? Just to suffer? If you look up their profit, people spent 5 million a month. 5 Million! They have made 190 million in their whole time, and a lot of that is more recent.

I think that anyone who would argue that there is hope, without doing anything, is delusional.

Why don't we find a way to actually matter to them?

What can we do to matter?

If they have the gall to release the Spear and have the pilot bypass shield and the Otto increase the firepower faster then a magnum, then they don't care.

I don't know if anyone knew this, but I had a few conversations with the guy who started selling hacks moments before he did. He was so set that he was making a difference, the one we complain about. Look at how that turned out. How much we suffered.

Pixonic noticed it. They tried to clean it up. Did they do it right? The hackers and idiots they sold to ruined their game to the point where they took action?

What I'm trying to say is, maybe the way for us to matter isn't to stop playing, or complain, and definitely not hacking. We need to hurt them. In a very specific way, with very specific equipment. Make a weird Meta. Find a way to increase older and unfocused stuff's power. Maybe hack, maybe not. We need to find a way to make their new stuff irrelevant, no matter how much they buff it. We need a way to make older equipment equal, in mass.

There's a few ways to do this, either we hack, or we fake Meta. Use old builds, but Relevant enough to destroy new stuff. Or find a way to alter the code of the entire game? Threaten War Robots by hiding in the community, and don't let them find out who to sue? Say "Fix your game or we will" and beat them into submission, like they have done to us?




I'm just ranting; the game isn't bad enough to deserve this. It's fine. It's balanced. It's fun. It's addictive.

It's clear to them that were not a problem.

The short answer is no

The somewhat long answer is that this forum has a connection to Pixonic (just not a strong one because it isn't really A official War Robots social group compared to Reddit and discord where people like shredder-blitz actively runs it) however we do have occasional giveaways( you can thank superhero for that) but yeah the connection isn’t strong enough that if you point your middle finger at pix then you’re not going to get muted enough unless you went too far

I sincerely like some of your pilot skill suggestions. Hover gets very little love from Pixonic. I can't recall the last time I saw one for sale as a special discount. As "fly on demand" goes, I'm QUITE surprised Pix has abandoned this feature completely. The code is there, it's begging to be reused.
