Why am I always paired with these ignorant players that's literally die-hard to their USELESS Natasha with Zenits/Noricums or Fury with Zenits while the rest of the team is raiding and getting beacons. These players are committed to playing one robot the ENTIRE GAME! Getting beacons on a damn Cossack would be even more helpful. Don't you know how USELESS you are?! Also isn't it boring just sitting there hitting one damn button the entire game and barely scratching the enemy team? What the heck is the point of playing when you are doing that the ENTIRE DAMN GAME?! I hate it the instant when a game starts literally I see 4-5 long range bots while I and maybe another are the only ones getting beacons. Also if you're a fast robot get the freaking beacons and NOT letting other super slow robots get them because by the time they get there the game is over (exaggeration). Dammit! It's called common sense! Okay, cool I finished my rant. Thanks for listening to those who have read my post.

I will grant you that I don't know what Cossacks you play with, but I give people an enjoyable experience when they play with this one. I fill all the gaps that KF's have - I skirmish, provide flank fire, get beacons that are "out of the way", I distract the enemy; it's a thing we call in the biology department "symbiosis", KF's and I complement each other in every way possible. So I don't know where you get the assumption that Cossacks are almost as bad as campers, and it would be (implied) "a bit better" to get beacons in a Cossack than camp, because it's exponentially better. Don't bring me down with those useless campers who think they're doing damage but really aren't, those useless pricks. inb4- It's a rant, 「bum-bum hole」

I haven't seen Cossacks in a while, but when I do they do their jobs and get beacons fast. However, they get taken out way too fast to offer teams effiecient fire support. TBH, I think running a Rogatka with Orkans would be a better option because they have two weapons slot, but is a tad slower. I have played with some good Cossacks players, but there are far more bad Cossacks player than good. Nonetheless, my rant is about Zenits/Noricum users who camp the ENTIRE length of the game when they have other bots that can help the team get beacons. Sure, there are times when you need a long range support, BUT the moment you realize your team is struggling. Destroy that long range bot and help your team with a short/mid range bot. P.S. I know the term "symbiosis" quite well as I have a BS in MCB. Glad there's a fellow bio major here (possibly?)?

I second the OP. Zenits/Noricum/Natashas are just useless. But really, those support bots are all pretty useless when it comes to beacon capping as they almost never ever cap them. They include Spiral/Hydra/Griffins, any long range bots, Spiral/Noricum/Pattons, even some of those Aphid/Pattons.
What they do not realize is that by camping, they are forcing friendly players to get focused. Sure, you may be safe from enemy fire, but what good does that do when all of your teammates are dead? Go forward and split enemy's attention.
Even the strongest player cannot survive getting shot from multiple direction at the same time. But imagine if you are with that teammate. One of you might survive and cap that beacon thereby moving the frontline forward.
Don't be a coward and move forward. /rant

What you say is true. However I'm actually thinking of upgrading a hydra/spiral Griffin to counter aphid Gepards in gold I think that's cool as long as you are not permanently glued on top of the roof on Shenzhen map. Those guys are terrible. They are minor annoyance to enemy team, but major headache for the friendlies. They can't defend B beacon which is right underneath them, cannot do enough burst damage to someone capping the center beacon and often miss because of those buildings.

I have gotten up on that roof once in a DB griffin. We had already taken 4 out of 5 beacons. I was sitting above red spawn taking them out as I reloaded. It was magical. As to the topic. A Natasha can be useful (though there are things that can do better in almost every purpose). I have had some very good games with thunder pinata. With thunder Mag and with thunder / trident (I know) and spirals. Most useful if your game is not going well and your being advanced upon. A pair of thunders can do wonders.

Which is why the thunder Carnage and Lancelot are popular yhondeh, however the Natasha doesn't have the speed to get up close like Lance and Carnage, so it is best used in frequented parts of a map (e.g. A beacon or a necessary path to a beacon.)

That's not the roof I was talking about. I think you meant red star on the map below. I meant the roof with yellow star. If I see Hydra Griff up there, I often go grab "A" beacon (their side beacon) then proceed to spawn raid. The wall near A beacon protects me from most of Hydra shots. Usually, while they are busy with me, my teammates can take the center beacon easily. free image hostingHere are 2 videos highlighting why Hydras on the roof is bad:

I don't have any hydrae. That was the roof mentioned (yellow star). How do you get to the roof of the other (I often go through on the way to the first beacon).

Ah ok. Then it's my mistake. As for the red star roof, if you have gone through on the way to D, you have been there. Some people like to camp up there using Molots to defend the center.

This seems to decide matches for me more than any other factor. From low silver all the way to low gold. Seems you are more likely to run into a team with three of them than a clan or a clubber. They are arguably more common than disconnects. It is one of the main reasons I wanted to join a clan because I hated how often no one would cap beacons and I'd get torn apart by multiple red knife fighters. Hard to blame the players themselves. It isn't like the game has a tutorial that covers matchmaking or strategy. So people buy the biggest bot they unlock and go with the coolest looking weapons.

So people buy the biggest bot they unlock and go with the coolest looking weapons. That is EXACTLY what some people do... I've even seen players more often than I'd like to mention with maxed hangars of crappy bots/weapon setups...

I thought it was only possible to get on the roof in android? Or is it a bug for both iOS and android? Is it a bug or intentional?

Gotta love spawning, and you are the only knifer! I toss Cossack in first. Hit 2 beacons right off, and maybe get a BG too!

Long Rangers have their place depending on the map. I have 1 long ranger with some trebs and geks for basically pestering the other team. Some times I will make one player rage so hard they will dedicate their bots to my bot's ultimate destruction. I usually lead them off somewhere close to the spawn area. They may have a backup bot or two tagging along wanting some payback. When they are within striking distance and my bot is near death, I destroy my bot, jump into my DB Griffin and nuke them both.
What did such a thing accomplish? - Suppressed enemy bots from attacking my teams bots - Drew enemy fire away from other knife fighting bots - (if I'm lucky) draw 1 or 2 knife fighting bots away from the battlefield, effectively giving my team a distinct advantage on the warfront.
Different tactics and different times of the game seem to work advantageously. Sometimes I waste it but I'm still working out when and where to use them. I'm not afraid of killing the long range support and jumping into a knife fighter if the tactical situation demands it.
