Raven to replace Inquisitor?

They need to update Legendary Pilot/Ancile-Aegis/mod slots/bot abilities on all bots to bring them current regardless of tier. Thing is with Pix ALWAYS putting the NEXT thing in front of balancing or keeping current items relevant, I personally don't see any major improvements forth coming.

My personal fix for ALL bots with underperforming Aegis is to add inbuilt Ancile. AND add to all Ancile builds a small Aegis, thus improving ALL low use bots due to fragility of the bot because of inbuilt shielding. The ONLY other alternative is to rebalance ALL those bots concerned individually. Mars Aegis is insane, the bot fragile, but given a choice, you will pick it over the other bots due to its prowess over the other shielded bot choices easily.

Edit: On topic, more bots that are fragile or super-slow should be granted innate stealth abilities, while limited compared to bots which already have stealth. As per Pixonics usual, they did not give this to Griffon a lower aspired bot, they give EXTRA to bots that are more naturally aspired.

If you want to limit mod slots give more innate abilities & more naturally aspired stats AND more mod slots to bots with less naturally aspired stats to create more versatility. Typical Pixonic...they stack on top of stack repetitively which creates broken items...then they nerf into dust half of them for the "next latest & greatest" Thing they come up with, with 0 regards to TRUE balance.

Hover with ability activated stealth instead of a drone derived one would be pretty cool...



If I may, might I be so bold as to suggest skipping the stealth for Hover and let em' have the Wonderworker pilot skill instead?


Stealth is fun, but beach-heading bacon using your face as an airborne bulletin-board for bullets = MOARer fun!
Wonderworker would add some repeatability to this kamikaze approach.



After seeing how awesome Wonderworker is on Skyros (which has a MUCH faster 3 second ability cool-down @ 9.5% of HP regenerated after each use), let the mechanics of 'feathering' the glide button equate to say 3-5% per tap, maxing out at a potential 40% HP healed per flight then the 7 second cool down.


If you are good enough it is possible to glide from the Farm to the Dam on Springfield, imagine a drone reflector-sheild and a crack-free healing flight. The possibilities get really interesting.
As an old HoverLover and forumite from back in 2017 its been a bit of a culture shock coming back into this fuster-cluck of a game but between the jump modules and these older bot buffs the fun factor is surprisingly still there.


To the topic of the thread, I've got a couple of Scroot-Ravens in the back that I can't wait to try out next update. The Patron drone will be an interesting combination. I won one the other night and combined with Raven's damage boost in flight, stealth AND the active jump mod, the cool down perks are such that you can pull off 4 jumps, two of which are damage boosted.



Next update is gonna be a Jerry Lee Lewis song for War Robots's true aviators.

PIX idea of FREE probably translates to Available in the Event Chests at a VERY low drop rate.

Bot for bot, Skyros with the active jump mod is the only other chassis that ever even comes close (IMhO) to the (un-stealthed) chaos and fun factor a Hover can shart onto the battlefield.

Just give Skyros its name sake and make a 'Glide' module, problem solved! 

Interesting how they are giving it out for free. Oh well, she can join my 3 Michelle Dubois pilots also waiting for the day I get a Raven.
