Just had this close call. Thankfully, I have a Nano Repair so I was able to reclaim some of that lost health before the next fight.

Bump, because MA QOL is going down the toilet.
For a game made by one person, this feels like Walking War Robots way back when Griffins Leos and Boas were top teir.
Non concurrent timed upgrades, and Domination maps promoting camping in TDM are meh, but other than that, it seems like the only game left in the genre that hasn't degenerated into the cesspit.
Slow and chunky, but nothing seems outright "busted" in terms of balance.

Been playing the game since last year. Still enjoy it. As far bots, mods , weps all are very balanced nothing is OP. Maps are decent. You do not have to spend a lot to have a competitive hanger and most of the weps are still useful in higher league play. There will be new tech tree and a new map coming in the near future, so we will see what happens.

Just reinstalled this game cause it appeared on my Steam search. Played a couple of matches and so far so good. The new maps are pretty cool and different. Its still early days for me and I don't understand the gear yet so fingers crossed. It's very early War Robots'ish and not nearly like the speedy game play I've grown accustomed to in Mech Arena.

Ive an account. Played for 5-6 months. Its different and its good in its way.
At max level... They added one...ant max level the matches are terribly unbalanced....
The PC cheats are super obvious....they never miss and always know where you are and your suffering status effects from weapons without status effects... Lol. Cheaters gonna cheat.
There is a small but dedicated player base... Small mostly i think cuz the server cant handle more that 30 peeps online and the wait times for matches are often more than 5 min.
Many will say the dev is upgrading ..and wait and see.... Game was out when i first started war robots in its second year.... So those guys can sing another song.
Decent game overall.... And worth some time.... Perhaps yall have a better experience

It has the bones of a good game for sure, but the cracks start to show after a couple months or so of play. Game progression becomes insanely grindy after reaching account level 8, with account leveling to 9 and 10 taking forever, the cost of equipment just skyrockets, and you start to get matched against ultra veterans/spenders that steamroll you like it is War Robots. I still play it a little bit, but these issues as well as the game’s general instability (it seems like you need to restart it every 30 minutes or so or it becomes increasingly jittery until inevitably crashing) mean it kinda get frustrating after a while. Again though, it is pretty decent for what it is and definitely does have that old War Robots charm. |
