The most usable mech for me is the shr42 with rippers and dual immobilizer zappers on top and heal pack. Get into position, zap, finish em off with the MGs, get in cover and heal up. Interesting. I've been using SHR42 with Rippers, a single PPC, a Nano Repair, and a Speed Booster to get out of trouble faster. Similar to your setup.

Running 2 shr42, one as desribed above the other with healing, one immo zap, one rocket and the 3shot cannon. Very good built bc of the allround range and close up lock + rockets is nice n crippling. Upgraded the cannons a level and they do plenty dmg. I see dual immo zapps a lot so will give that a go too. They also do serious dmg when upgraded I noticed… ouch!

Need to fix - game will crash - can sell items but nothing is being sold, bug? Edit - imbalanced matches 1 vs 3, 1 vs 2, 2 vs 4, but might bematter of time until playerbase grows probably I agree with everything you've said in the Good/Neutral. It's certainly not perfect and needs work in some areas.
Regarding the crashes, I was recommended to do a full restart of the app periodically as that seems to address the issues. I've had some success with it. I just completely remove the app from the dock (note: not uninstall) and reopen before starting a game. I haven't really had much issues since I started doing that.
I haven't tried selling anything. I'm sitting on all that until I really figure out what I do and don't want to do.
I agree with the imbalance. I agree that it might be due to the playerbase still being rather small. The game stability might also have something to do with it.
I’m on iPad pro 12” and notice the game becomes very laggy before a crash. Usually I can finish the game and then restart it. But not 100%. Will follow ur procedure.

Btw question: when pressing the gamecenter icon, it gives a notification to load an existing profile. If I do not load it it goes back to the dialog and now gamecenter has a check mark. Is my profile now stored? Little reluctant to load that profile…
Edit: tried it with my phone: yes it is

- nothing really over the top (had one experience where I was appraoching player I was instant killed in two strikes out of the blue, not sure if it was a weapon or something else) I think it is the rezonator. Had it twice again. Those things do serious dmg geez

Interesting build I ran into a little bit ago.
The red had an American mech with dual top hardpoints. He had two Harpoons mounted up top and was equipped with two Saw weapons. He Harpooned me into him the sliced and diced me up from full health. Later on, I dropped into a new mech and went down that path and ran into mines.
His mech had been destroyed by a blue, but I wonder if his plan was to advance, drop mines, back up, drag an opponent over the mine (boom) then slice and dice with the Saws.
Even without the Saws, that was really effective!

Not too impressed yet, but lvl0. Will lvl them a bit to see, looking at cost to upgrade they must be good.

And they don’t expire if you blow up. It’s common for beacons to get mined or common paths from A to B. You get 4 per module down on the ground at a time. If you place a 5th, it overwrites the 1st.

Tried it out on iPad, same basic fault as mech arena - controls for shooting are all over the place and it is really hard to aim and hit. Interesting. I use an iPhone, but only have issues when things get laggy and at ranges out in the 500m neighborhood.
I recommend screwing around with your graphical settings.
They've "fixed" something that doesn't need fixing: being able to shoot down and up when there's nothing there. What's missing is "friction" in the movement of the robot head and guns when aiming to shoot (if that makes sense.) The bots move like they're heavy when traveling but the movement of the robot head and guns is as if they're as light as a feather.

New built is looking promising, killed 8 bots in 1 game with it. Pulled myself into their spawn in the open concrete map and below 100m those shotguns start to shine. Keep grappling as it does good dmg every 10s and get in point blank range quick. The emp disables them. Added one more lvl and already making a diff. Bot needs more health tho.

So I got annihilated by a guy yesterday with jump jets, flamer, Rezonator, and Titanium Shield. It was a jumped-in death bomb. Sure seems like a BB type build.

I just quit. Iâve been nothing but frustrated since I hit level 7.
Forewarning to those of you I lured to the game. The MM is worse than War Robots at level 7. Maybe youâll have more success and hopefully your RL is less of a 「dookie」show than mine is these days, but I couldnât stomach the huge frustrating grind to make my mechs not get annihilated any more.

Sry to hear but yeah, I hit lvl7 yesterday and matched with top dogs almost exclusively, esp in the evening, cccp and what not. As soon as u see 5 bots being deployed it typically indicates one has entered a meat grinder. My bots (lvl1) are killed of in two shots Have had frustrating matches too where u just can’t get a break and are killed of instantly hahaha 🙄 Its a bit annoying that, I assume, high lvld weaps seem to hit you just about anywhere, even in cover like those gau guns and ripper. But maybe thats just the reason why they r the top dogs and more skilled. Play very reserved, get ur dmg in and you’ll end up high on the list. Today is good though, even matches. i’m concentrating all effort on my shotgun bot, main goal. Against high lvl players it tends to be killed of immediately after getting first kill. But overall its effective and will take down at least 2 often more against normal to good reds. like my days in War Robots, I just think of a build I’d like to play, make effective and work towards it trying to stay in Champions League (Punisher, Calamity Fenrir was last project). Thats the driver, and the rest wouldn’t care less about. Take similar approach here, no hurry, nothing to prove, nothing to loose Enjoy and keep on truckin ✌️ ( (c) R. Crumb ), Lepe out

With the 「dookie」 sandwich that is War Robots patch 9.3 dropping, I figured I’d give this another go.
Looks like a handful of new guns have dropped, some rebalancing, and a different MM have all come about since I played last. Games seem much more fair in general.
Unfortunately, it appears that at MM is somewhat like what War Robots has so there are complaints about tanking. I’ve seen what appears to be some of that, but nothing that looks like the over-the-top tanking like you see in War Robots. Perhaps there’s a bottom to how far you can go? Honestly, I have a hard time telling between what might be MM issues, tankers, and possibly lousy AI filling in gaps. In general, matches see reasonably balanced. It’s far better than what drove me from the game previously.
Gear also seems somewhat easier to come by which is nice. I’ve been playing for a few days now and have upgraded a number of things (guns, energy shields, etc), and bought some stuff with gold. I also got my first jump pack which brings a whole other dimension to the combat.
I need to remember that A) this is more like Walking War Robots, and B) this is done by a single guy (the dev team is one dude). I donât know how much longevity there is here, but itâs a pleasant diversion so far.

Another thing I forgot to mention: If the game crashes on you — and I get this every ~5 games or so, if you restart the app it puts you right back where you were in the same match. A shame War Robots doesn’t do this!

I don’t know how frequently this happens, but there is currently an event going on where you get a gold payout at the end of the event depending on your position. Position and the leader boards seems to be based on how much activity you’re putting in. To give a basis of comparison, the mechs you can get at level seven cost either 20,800 or 25,000 gold to buy.
