Mech breakdown in top 100 players. Great info by a new YouTuber. Also watch his "Die and Drink Hot Sauce Challenge" he did live stream....hilarious!

Interesting statistics. I may have to use Stalker more. Haven't gotten the hang of Arc Torrents yet, so rarely use them. 🤔 Hmmm. Tengu has been fun this week but at present he is so squishy. I also will take another look at Guardian and maybe get that ability range implant.

Stalker is crazy powerful. I am going nuts trying to max mine. I bought him later on and I wish I had more time to get bps. I am a bit surprised that ArcTorrents aren't more popular on it, but DLs are the best. Going up against a decent player with them is just brutal in tournament. Unfortunately, until I max mine AT10s are the best I can do.
Feeling behind the 8-ball lately on the meta. So many Surges and Stalkers and I have neither. And my EMR 16 is at R4. EM Rifles are everywhere now. Definitely feeling Railguns slip down in their competitiveness. Sigh, it's going to take months til I get all this stuff levelled and ready.

The prevalence of EMs and Stalkers has me thinking the Pix-like ‘hamster wheel’ has begun. My spending on MA is way down. I’ve got all this content that is now second tier before I really took/had the chance to upgrade it and let it shine. These mobile games really reward the early adopters who spend $ to upgrade content quickly.

Is the Guardian range implant the one that increases the width of System Crash? Or is there another implant for range?

Iâve got all this content that is now second tier before I really took/had the chance to upgrade it and let it shine. I was reading an article about heavy spenders on Vice and one of the people they interviewed had spent $169,000 on a single game! That's some bizarro universe-style 「dookie」 right there. The game is definitely in a meta shift right now. The pace of content hasn't changed but everything getting released now is meta or near-meta unlike back when it was less impactful stuff like Aegis. The fact that ArcTorrents are now such a rare build except on Surges kinda speaks to that - it wasn't that long ago that they were on everything. The thing I am trying to make myself remember is that from a game economics perspective, only the Tournament meta matters. And once I max Stalker I will have all of that except doubled EMR16s, which aren't that important for earning A-Coins. Surge is part of the Tournament meta but it's the least important mech tbh. It's CPC where it really becomes a problem. Same with EMRs - they pack a punch but there aren't many tourney maps where they tip the balance and then not by much over Railguns. This all does make me wonder what'll happen when CPac becomes a tourney mode. Are they going to make some have a choice between modes or will it make the hamster wheel feeling even worse.

There's also a gold version called System Crash Range but it does the same thing as far as I can tell. I assume it's a mistake that they named them differently.

So many Surges and Stalkers and I have neither. Err but didn't you just say that you bought Stalker ? The game is definitely in a meta shift right now. The pace of content hasn't changed but everything getting released now is meta or near-meta unlike back when it was less impactful stuff like Aegis. Speaking about which, I've been worrying for a while about this pace which seems too quick to me. They're releasing new mechs and weapons so quickly that they'll be fast approaching a creative wall... there's only so many concepts one can come up with. They should have released new content much more slowly, and emphasised the release of new maps instead. It's as if Plarium's bean counters had a specific shelf life in mind, all along. A planned of obsolescence according to which this game wouldn't be profitable enough after, say, four years ; after which it'd be ditched or left to rot at best. The thing I am trying to make myself remember is that from a game economics perspective, only the Tournament meta matters. Agreed. A hangar better be optimised for A-coins farming. As you hinted, and as discussed earlier, the introduction of CPC tournos will likely change the balance of the current hangars. The emphasis will likely be on mobility - going from one control point to another. This means an emphasis on Killshot and Surge. Clans might eventually have an effect on hangars, too. E.g. a clan member could be assigned to sniping duties, and consequently fill his lineup with as many rifles as he can - dual EM16, dual RG16, dual EM12 and dual LA12. In which case he may not bother with light or fast mechs. Yeah it's the width one. There's also a gold version called System Crash Range but it does the same thing as far as I can tell. I assume it's a mistake that they named them differently.[/quote] No, they have two different functions... reflected in their names. System Crash Width affects the width of the crash cone ; i.e. how many mechs standing side by side can be affected at once. System Crash Range affects the length of the crash cone ; i.e. how far it can reach the first mech.

Sorry, yeah I own Stalker, just not maxed, which means I can't equip my DL12s and can't really use it yet for tourney. I used to be worried about them running out of ideas but if there is one thing War Robots taught me, it is that there is no upper limit to amount of magical nonsense devs can layer into a game. Unfortunately. Sorry, not to be dense, but I don't get what you're saying on System Crash. I mean I do see that they have different values for width and range in the mech abilities section of 60m and 30m respectively. 30m is the radius - so what is the width if not diameter? The height of the cone? EDIT: Nevermind on System Crash. I kept thinking it was a full circle around the mech, not just a cone projected in front. I actually play it using the ability facing forward but by now it's so automatic, I forgot the actual mechanism. Ignore my earlier answer reconnecting, those implants aren't the same.
