Ok, the matchmaking seems to have become even more broken today than I've ever seen it. I'm in Expert III, and my son is in Diamond III. We play together in a squad. Today, almost every battle has had at least 2 people from Champion league, and most of the rest (other than us) are Masters. Far above us. And there will often be one person from the Gold league thrown in to be cannon fodder. 「whiskey tango foxtrot」? Putting someone from Gold I or Diamond III against people from Champions, where everything is Mk3? The last battle was just absurd - the other team had 5 people from Champion and one from Masters II. My team was all Expert III and lower. We lost 32 to 7 (Deathmatch).
Is this Pixonics just trying to let the high level people crush everyone else for the current Leaderboard? There's no point at all in us playing right now. They seem to be intentionally setting up matches for people from high leagues to crush people in lower leagues. There's definitely no attempt at having people play against players near their own league.

I posted my first encounter with a Gold leaguer against Masters and Champs. Unfortunately, your son being in Diamond has little influence on MM that’s not countered by your status. So you’re unknowingly dragging him into matches with higher league players. Yeah, MM sucks.

Each platform is updated separately, which decreases the player pool. Due to this smaller pool, they decided to let the player range increase the longer they are queued to decrease match waiting times during platform separation. I hope that breaks it down for you a bit better. It does help when you update your profile so people can see your platform & address issues more specifically. |

Actually, it looks like it doesn't matter whether I'm playing with him or not - even when he plays by himself, he's getting put up against people in Champion (and he's in Diamond 3). 「whiskey tango foxtrot」?

 Quite even matchmaking, just last night. Both top 1 are mid Masters. All the rest (including me) are high Experts. But all sporting Mk2/3 gears and at least 4mil damages (and most have bra cups). Am I out of touch? I still running 3 x Mk1 bots and L9 wpns and 2.5mil. I thought that’s the going rate for Expert. I think even if I tank 2 leagues down I’m still underpowered….my Android troll Bronze acct frequently have to fight Sailor Moons and Snicker Mars bars. Lol. I using Demeter to survive (same for my other Master acct). No fighting chance with non-healing bots. Next match was a devastating loss. BUT same matching. Bra Cups. Mk2/3. Sailor Moons. Snicker Mars…..gonna see Pigsy soon. |

Yesterday I had nothing but consecutive bad matches but today it was all good except 1 match………..who knows what’s happening anymore 🤪

whelp, matchmaking is even more weirder now
it's either im mixed with diamond and sometimes gold players or masters
there's rarely in between
im in expert 3 moving to 2 atm

Only a rare occasion here & there do I face REAL lower leage playaers, I just blow them away and say 「whiskey tango foxtrot」? When I look at the score board I see why... |
