Seems to me he started playing again hard core after being away from pixos 「dookie」 for a long time, and lately he was posting about hackers, imbalance and bugs, maybe he had enough of it one too many times...

If I'm reading the signs correctly, It happened to me, once, during shoctrain era, state of the game was making me really angry and disappointed, and it was boiling inside me, and one day out of nowhere, i left my clan, sold my champion league hangar and deleted my forum account...
Came back a year later, started playing out of boredom on my vacation, but had really casual approach towards the game since then. So casual that the newest bot in my no.1 hangar is lvl 9 Hades, and newest weapon is lvl 5 Puncher.

I’m pretty sure I was in a match yesterday against Battle Angel. But I may be mistaken. I was wrong once before.

Came back a year later, started playing out of boredom on my vacation, but had really casual approach towards the game since then. I definitely reached a break point and will no longer play unless Im on comms with friends. No more daily grinding for meager resources. I can definitely see lots of the signs for many folks on being fed up, so maybe battleangel hit his/her point. Pix is getting very close to finally reaping what it has sewn regarding focusing on money rather than players. |

Maybe Battle Angel will be like Banana Split was a while ago. He deletes the accounts out of nowhere, and then shows up again after everyone forgot about him.

If my memory is correct, Banana man has been gone since last October. Not sure he will be back? But ya never know. Maybe BA will be the same. Time will tell. |

Honestly I’m starting to feel it too. I just made a 4th hangar and dumped a crapload of resources on it and I’m getting clobbered. I’m seeing beyond the pale strategies like in Valley where people always want to go backdoor to enemy beacon giving up 4 beacons to try to get it. Every time. I keep fighting alone for center or our second home. After awhile I started to see that teammates are far away doing a Hail Mary. In the beginning of the game. This is what happens when you create hyper speed invincibility meta bots. Players think they can get away with stuff like that. |

You can’t play intelligently or try to win when with randos at the beginning of a match. I’ll either go with the flow or hang back abd snipe until I have a sense of is this winnable and go team or do I just go full TDM mode with a few beacons for fun. It’s really much less stressful that way. Occasionally, do the correct opening move solo with a suicide but and laugh at how quickly you can melt. |
