They've started offering implant deals for real $. I actually want both of the gold Longarm implants but not for $19.99. I'm curious how long they'll wait to start offering the most wanted implants like ArcTorrents for and what they'll charge.

If they're doing this, it may mean that they're either ever greedy or desperate for money to keep operations afloat.

I think this is just part of the fiscal plan to keep up profit projections. We've almost run out of pilots for them to offer, so they need something else. Implants for cash are the next logical step. There's a set of high spenders who've gone all in on the Advanced Crates, but I think even among the higher spending crowd, most folks have been holding off until you could buy implants directly. Once they run the course on this, we'll be onto the next thing. Drones I imagine.

Interesting. About two weeks ago I emailed Plarium and asked if could purchase the legendary Jav damage implant directly. They replied by telling me the limited ways I could acquire it.
Agree that this is a logical progression. Wouldn’t be surprised if more pilots and implants were in the works though.

Yeah but I was just guessing. War Robots did it so I figure sooner or later MA will follow suit (not that I want them to). But it looks like OU812? hit the nail on the head and we have a whole new layer of pilots headed our way. Now with dual abilities and "perks" that offer other mech enhancements.   |
