In light of the current event, I’d like to ask; are graviton beams worth it? Can”t believe how low the numbers are on the leaderboard I just got placed on.

Arachnos is trash. Don't bother with it.
I don't think the GB10s are worth it either. Better to get the 12 or 16.

Well, I took second. My mass of saved crates worked and the A-Coins alone were worth it.
Question: What pairs well with a single graviton beam? Any suggestions for use? I don’t think I’ll rank it high quickly. Too many other hanger projects demanding resources.

I have dual GB16 and it's freaking powerful. Each does almost 53k per magazine and does over 25k in implosion damage. Implosion happens in 3 seconds, but because I have 2, it happens in 1.5 seconds. Sure RB16 and EM16 can one shot kill you in less time, but you have to line up those guns perfectly. Since GB is a beam weapon, it enjoys auto-centering and I can fire while moving, and since I have it on my Panther, I can do a ton of damage during my Stasis Field deployment. It's only real weakness is mechs that shoot from cover.
If you only have one GB16, pair it with SB16 with Panther. This way, you still get protection, and then you also add stasis, and if you can keep the beams on for 3s, boom.
Side notes
Even without Implosion, it does damage faster than SB16. It's only got a range of 100m, so getting the range implant is a good idea. Mine currently shoots out to about 117m. With implosion, it can do damage almost as fast at AT12. Yes, I've gone head to head and sometimes I lose and sometimes I win and other times Double KO.
I also picked up Asami and at R4, she's about the same as Yeti at R6.
