Don’t shoot it. That is all.

It seems people are forgetting what was once common knowledge during the Fafnir meta. Nothing like a Puncher Erebus unloading its 500k burst damage into your shield as you gleefully watch its health evaporate!

So I realize that the takeoff shield will charge the fafnir breath. But what about getting shot after it has gone down and the drone purple shield comes up. Does that charge it up too?

Does that charge it up too? this is a very good question. I don't think drone absorbers boost weapons, but if anyone can say for sure, we'd appreciate that. sometimes faffs pop another purple, still in the air. it's tricky to keep track. though, of course, there's never a good time to shoot a purple shield

I’m 99% sure that drone shields do not boost the built-in weapon. Unless there is some hidden game mechanic that never became widely known during the Fafnir meta, there is nothing to indicate that drone shields have any special effect on Fafnir.

Thanks 079. That was my hunch, but my instincts just say "don't shoot purple shields". Probably a good policy though. Generally

Tbh I dont think people ever fully got it, just like they never stopped shooting a tethered 「fluffernutter」ing Leech! But yeah, I have done some extraordinary things after having a full Havoc Ravana clip unload or a Puncher Behemoth overconfident in their ability to kill everything lmao. Idiots.

Titan's unloading on my Fafnir as I take off... and melting them in return. Such a great bot (RIP.)
