Sorry, no, hackers and invincible Seraph bug and the constant app dysfunctions like lag are not being dealt with. Instead, in this weekend’s test server we see why they cant be bothered with fixing problems.
🔸 New weapons: Talon, Claw, Jaw
Rocket launchers designed for close combat. They has an improved target-lock system and blast radius. Main feature of these launchers is special ammo that hits the target with a rust effect and make it more vulnerable to incoming damage.
🔸 New module: Immune Amplifier
For every 20000 damage received, your robot gets a small bonus to increase its maximum durability for the entire battle.
Upon reaching 30 of the possible bonuses, the robot gets immune to Freeze; upon reaching 60 of the possible bonuses, the robot gets immune to Lockdown, and upon reaching 90 (maximum) of the possible bonuses the robot gets immune to Suppression. All the immunes stay active for the entire battle. Besides, your robot initially gets passive bonuses that increase its durability and speed.
🔸 New turret: Durability Extender A turret that increases durability of your robot when activated.
🔸 Inventory Unequip When sending to inventory, all equipment is automatically unequiped from the robot.

Just what we need, MORE DURABILITY! It’s not even about the bot anymore, you can turn anything into a super tank if you pimp it up with this stuff and all the other shiny gadgets in this game.

They plan to use the Immune Amplifier to crank durability to ridiculous levels until we're *begging* them to reintroduce the Executioner module.

I'll be able to 1-v-4 at the Red spawn for the entire match.

Forget that other bull「dookie」, I hope this is optional! Otherwise I'll never be able to run another Every Bot War. You know, there are times when you WANT equipped bots to go to the garage so that when you're done with some 800m damage bs mission you can EASILY put your MM hangar back in.

I get both sides of it, but one has to think. Is this a cheap yet sneaky way of pix trying to get more to spend for another hangar so you won’t run into that issue, and have at hand. Or maybe even a data collection to see what people are into more for them to create the next meta? Considering I’m sure they catch some heat from all the complaints, so they reverse engineer ideas by going back to the well but making it meta and op they wait for the next chatter. Timelines could also be a thing since we are in another tank phase.

Here I was hoping we could get a module rework due to the stale module meta (ie use NA and RA and everything else is worse), but pixonic decided it’d be better to make a better version of anticontrol and nitro unit all in one and slap “amplifier” on it.

Timelines could also be a thing since we are in another tank phase. Maybe, on the ‘buy another hangar’ part. As for not running into the issue though, I already have 5 hangars. I use 4 (sometimes 5) for 6 Pack Fight Nights and own (currently) 253 bots. Bots get sloshed in and out all the time. I realize I am most likely a severe outlier but if unloading weapons when going to the garage is going to be not optional this is going to make my War Robots life much harder.

Tossin thoughts here, no not salad BB get your mind out of the gutter. This is just something I have been considering lately, because I am truly on the cusp of deleting my hangar. With the presentation of such extremes of durability, this is particularly a huge problem in close quarters, and unfortunately it is the beacon modes that necessitates excessive close quarter control, so it is those modes that the extreme durability is truly the problem as far as that subject goes. Subsequently, it is as well recognized that one of the most frustrating aspects of this game is veteran players remaining clueless about how to control beacons. Based on these two observations it makes me wonder if I ought to spend more time exploring the freedom and limitations of team death match, including the ability to utilize the 350+m range to keep some distance from ultra durable opponents, in the absence of the additional stress of close proximity combat demanded by beacon zone control. This has actually something I have been exploring in beacon modes anyways, with Mag Blitz and other builds where I hang back a bit or flank while allowing temporary loss of a beacon. The point blank battle seems to have become, well, a bit pointless.

Lol, I havent played that mode in a very long time. Good to know it is pointless to check it out. Makes my path forward pretty clear. This whole game is a 「fluffernutter」ing dumpster fire.
