So I just picked up a 2nd khepri from the operation menu c. It also came with some scald. I haven’t tried those yet. Are they good, should I level them? Trying to use my silver wisely. I have 4 cudgels partial leveled some I could use too. Also 2 scatters, 2 blaze, 2 toxin, 4 kramola, my first khepri has 4 cudgels also. Just hit expert 3.

Just watched a few videos of them. They are close. Seems like the cudgel is great close range. While the scald can offer a little better distance damage because the cudgel spreads.

The Skald struggle against Aegis, so I do not personally recommend them for brawling. In the past they were pretty brutal when brawling with my Revenant, but the Aegis layering presented substantial enough impact on Skald performance that I stopped running them for brawls.
I would not upgrade an extra 4 Cudgels because that would be 8 weapons in your hangar that get nerfed when the hammer falls. Try a mix of the toxic and flames; I run this sometimes and it works good in a brawl. Two sonics and two Blaze is also decent. Obviously the bendies are tough, but not as good at brawling, so maybe it could be your support Khepri.
An excellent alternative if you have or win the Otto pilot, is Magnum Khepri!

Cudgels can be pretty nasty at range with the sharpshooter pilot skill. I think that pilot skill is essential if you run cudgels.

I use Scald and find them awesome but I’m MK-3 , I also found with them 2 need the help of a third or fourth or the scorcher/ incinerator to get the kick butt result.

Agree with all the above - personally, whenever I see a red sonic Khep, I groan a little as I know it will be tough to come out with a serviceable bot to continue - even when in my cudgel Khep. Flames or Toxic goo also work, but you need a stable connection and a good eye to lead the shots.

Wow, great thread. Super responses all. I like shawngonakillyou's full-service post. He makes a great case for bendies. (They aren't my favorite for beacon play but they sure sound fun.)

Bendies are not great at beacon games. It depends on who’s around you for sure. If you have a bunch of tanks and brawlers, this support bot is amazing addition - locking down speedy targets for your brawlers to smash, locking down bots outside of beacons, and the damage boost when all things are active (anticontrol, + the immune/damage chips, charged up nuc amp) you will melt many an unsuspecting bot. it can be an effective Seraph counter, but you’ve got to play it smart because their ability to get out of your range is very good with the speedy pilot. Don’t let them know you are bendy equipped until they are on their way down (obviously the smart ones will be out of range most times, but a few over eager players will land too close and regret it) If you’re forced into taking and defending beacons solo this is not the build, so build with caution.
