So I replaced my Russian Griff with a Fury with one trident and two Zeus..
But so far not liking the result at all.
Russian Griff was level 8/8..
The single trident on the fury is level 8 but the two Zeus are level 6.. Ran out of silver for now..
I used to pack more damage with the RDB though..
Is it me or are Zeus a waste of money and time?

I ran 2 tridents and 1 zeus for a while, and it wasn't bad. The zeus really need to be leveled a couple before they'll be an asset. The other consideration is do you see a lot of anciles at your level? Because I got sick of anciles soaking my trident damage, so I keep waffling between all zeus and all trident. Leveled zeus are pretty effective - 3 volleys from a zeus fury will break the armor on a comparably leveled lance. The 5 sec reload is also nice. The problem occasionally is they fire at dead center on the bot so anyone corner shooting or even 51% obscured by cover (whether vertical of horizontal) can't be hit. I'm currently leveling my first zeus to 12, and I love them in the right situation.

Problem is at 600 meters it's sometimes hard to see clearly whether a bot is covered by something or open to shoot at.. This is a on the other hand s big asset for the trident.. One could even shoot at and highly damaged fully covered bots.. Also hard to spot at such distance whether one is shooting at a shielded bot.. And even harder to spot at what direction its shield is pointing.. I think I'll try 2 Tridents 1 Zeus later.. Ancile vs physical shields are equally distributed in my matches.. That's why I thought it's a good idea mixing the weapons..

I run a Zeus fury and it is a solid support bot. It pumps out substantial DPS for mid-range and is quite effective at killing off enemy mid-range bots. As Thumpmonkey1 pointed out, it is more susceptible to cover than a Trident build. However, it tears into ancile bots and swats jump bots out of the air with ease. As for mixing the Zeus and Trident, I'm not sure I would do that since their targetting mechanics are so different.

I use a dual trident Zeus fury, only because I won a Zeus from an event and decided to try it out. Probably not the most efficient of combination, but great against non shield bots like Griffins since it has good damage output. But at level 9, I lose 15k damage against bots like rhinos and galahads who can block the Zeus and it takes longer to remove the energy shield from carnages or ancelots. A pure trident or Zeus only fury might be more efficient.

I run Trident Fury and it's a best weapon because there are many maps where bots hide. I find Zeus Fury ineffective where too many shield bots (Gareth, Galahad, Rhino, Lancelot) running around.

Use all Zeus, all Tridents or Trident Zeus Trident. Those are the most viable midrange Fury setups.
If there are lots of Anciles, try a Trident Thunder Trident Fury.

I have found those weapons to work best in pairs.

Used to run triple tridents with my Fury, I've since switched to triple Zeus exclusively, I once ran Trident/Zeus/Trident, in like two games but it's not a setup I'd run as a main, I find three of the same to be the best way to run a Fury.

As for mixing the Zeus and Trident, I'm not sure I would do that since their targetting mechanics are so different. Yes exactly.. Great comment. I think this is what is minimizing my damage with such a mixed setup.. Yes it does cover both shields and all positions (jumping, sprinting and hiding) but ineffective at each.. Better to focus on side and be effective at it than cover all situations albeit in effectively.. Especially that this is much more efficient and easier to press one red button than lose focus to clicking each weapon separately.. So I added one Zeus for now ditching my single trident aside.. Maybe when I make enough Wp I'll get another and a carnage and try that combo..

I ran a Trident/Carny. I did purchase a Zues earlier and did pair up with Trident on Carnage. Did not have good feel with lock on for Zeus, they did not compliment each other. Trying to fire mismatched lock on and reload times together, hard to get them both efficient and effective.
I now run a TT Fury, could not see putting a Zues in the middle. Part of the potential damage of Fury is the splash, that would be greatly effected.

You can run a Thunder-Trident-Trident Fury. The Thunder to take down shields, and then bombs away! I'll run this setup when I am on a win streak and I get matched with Masters and Champion players, then there's so many Anciles in the field it makes sense as a really good combo on my Fury. I have Zeus and Tridents and Furys, but not all on the same account, so I can't say whether they work or not. A lot of times, it depends on skill and something that doesn't work the first, second, third time, it could work a few months down the road when I get better.

I have such a love hate relationship with trident fury. That said, Zeus fury scares me more as those Gary's and Galas will find u.
I think instead of Zeus/trident combo, the protolot may be the ancilot killer that Gotham needs (but not the one Gotham deserves) when it gets released. Trident protolot trident on a fury may be ideal to kill the beasts.
