I've managed, with help from my EM6 to get alot better at hitting targets with my lone Railgun. So much so that I ve racked up 30+ kills today. The laser pointer pretty much takes the guesswork out of the equation.
It would probably pair well with a Gauss Rifle provided you're not on a straffing run.

I like it well enough that I may drop $12 on the EM10 for some extra punch.

Some folks might argue that it wasn't a fair fight. I disagree. That Racoon had the option of whoopin' all them dogs and walkin' off.

That was an interesting idea. I paired mine up on my Ares and it worked pretty well. Definitely helped with a fast moving mech or two. Still prefer the firing dynamic of Railguns themselves, but it could be an interesting way to split RGs onto 24EN mechs and get two snipers for maps like Agora. The ER6 would need to be really well leveled though.

These ER6 threads have been great. I just shelved mine when I won it. Didn't really think about experimenting on some of my weaker mechs. Stalker has been decent but Orion has been more fun to play for me even though it is a rank lower. Definitely bumped Orion up on my mechs to max list.
