I used most of my large ish stash of credits and half my saved acoins to qualify for the Payoff (heh) Event. But I won't win anything. Again. Yet I did it anyway. Why? I feel like a gerbil in a cage pressing that lever one more time so the buzzer will sound and a morsel of food will drop. I Would like the Orion, but at 3500 points and few non paying ways to get them, I won't be winning Orion. 🤔😒 Sigh.  |

I feel your pain.
I’d need 3168 points to enter the top 40. Not gonna happen this time.
$40 in a-coin deals, 100+ gold crates, 200+ silver crates, etc. got me 4th last time. That’s not going to be happening often. My participation was somewhat opportunistic.
I think these events are geared toward hoarders and spenders. As such, the low hanging fruit doesn’t seem worthy of the effort.
Plarium seems to have found their ‘payoff’ event formula. I wonder if the scoring tasks will change much. I’m hoping a near future one will return the use 200(or 500) a-coins task. I could get double the benefit of the a-coins I had purchased for the last one.
Orion is a fun bot. Worth the acquisition.

I've been able to be in the top three in some of this playoff events, and based on the activities I almost can predict how my position (broadly) will be. Tbh, in this one I'm not even trying. Normally I can understand how people get in the top positions, this time there is a guy in my bracket with 60,000 points. How?  ? Looking at the options to obtain points, I cannot imagine what is he doing. |
