I won a Scavenger Heimdall a while ago and never upgraded it. Now I know why. Maybe a LE Indra (I predict w a tusky elephant coming out of its face) will be out by Oct. The way they float them it’ll be out by September. I’ll be waiting for that too. I’m running my ravana more now to get used to the game play of Indra that makes me think - the one class of weapon that has no, even tangential, equivalent are the sonics….I wonder what a titan sonic would sound like. Boy, that’d be a game ended. Regular sonics already take down titans.

I suggested blinding flash grenades a few years ago, look how long that took. Granted, they’re blindy beams, not grenades, but I’ll still take the blame for that one.

But it did feel like two months ago on munkeeee thread about “what would you make in War Robots” that someone mentioned a healer class weapon. It may have been me, I honestly forget

Well, just to play a little devils advocate here, there really isn’t that many things in War Robots that are unrealistic, because a lot of these things exist as active or prototype tech in todays military. For example, homing bullets exist. Plasma shields, lightning weapons, radar jamming weapons, stealth tech, cloaking tech, or on a more controversial topic yet extensively verifiable, Phase Shift/Transcendence/Vipassana tech has been caught in video footage by world military where a ufo is shot at but appears to phase in and out of visibility taking no damage. The Absorber shield of the Greek mechs is interesting for example, there are these plasma shields in development that not only block incoming fire and drastically minimize the effects from high powered explosions, the energy is thrown back as explosive particles. Its pretty interesting when you really start digging because what you end up finding is a lot of things in the game are based on existing military designs.

I saw a lot of developmental things while I was in the service that are used and/or advanced today, even some ideas I had but being a Jr Marine at the time it wasn’t considered.

AANNNNDDDDD…..this game is based in the future. Very likely all of these things will exist. The science is plausible, just not currently possible with our, “barely out of the industrial revolution” tech. On the grand curve of time, all these things and more will be real.

News leaks now saying the Indra Vipassana will only be 2 charges instead of 3. That was my main feedback when I filled out the form, so good news if that is the final outcome, as it won’t be able to dominate all other titans as easily as it does with 3 charges

Similar to Minos in that respect. Minos was surprisingly balance on intro, hopefully Indra will follow a similar path.

Murometz looked to be balanced when it came out too. It was only when the blindies came out that they reached the level of Ao Ming in its heyday. And was it the laser weapons that made the Ao Ming overpowered or was it Ao Ming itself. It’s only Luchador that was dominant right out of the gate. Yet, maybe it’s because of the cinders with its fast mothership recharge. Remember, cinders also brought Minos into prominence.

Even if it only has 2 charges of the Vipassana, it will still be able to cover ground (esp. at that speed) with ease - combined with the powerful Cinders (per The VVatcher above) it could still be a menace straight off the bat. Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Can't wait to get my hands on one! I’m already enjoying the anticipation of getting the LE version. I’m hoping for something…darker.
