My son gave me a Google Play gift card for Father's Day. I've been thinking of getting the Surge mech after the next update. However today there was a 49.99 deal for 8000 acoins. Google Play would not accept my $50 usd gift card for the purchase. I assume it's because it doesn't cover the added tax. Is there a way around this? Buy a $5 gift card and add it to my Google account? Other ways that dont require more spending?
Fwiw I was in my Google account and I saw I had enough points to reduce the cost of the acoin deal a lot. So I bought it that way. It was like another 50% off. Maxed my Killshot finally and added a DL16 to him. 😅 I will wait for the update and get Surge. The gift card is still sitting in my account.
