Anyone got some good advice for acquiring implants or is it all a crapshoot? I’d been hoping to keep my Shadow Jav relevant with the higher end implants, but I haven’t seen any show up in the shop at all. If high end implants do appear it’s usually stuff I’m disinterested in like plasma cannons and such.
I’m sort of surprised how challenging it is to accessorize their pilot-implant model how you’d want to. Seems rather limiting in unnecessary ways.

It's a crapshoot OU812. Though I have bought some decent purple implants in the store. I rare occasions the crapshoot gave me a legendary implant.   |

It's a crapshoot but I have won the purple (epic) Jav damage implant and I have seen the golden (legendary) range implant offered in the store a couple of times. Which is a bit weird because according to the database, the damage implants aren't supposed to be available in the shop. I didn't even know there was an Epic JR damage implant! Good to know. Now I won't overlevel my Commmon damage implant too much and wait for the Epic to show up. I guess I should save up A-coins in case I see it in the store! I'm not too interested in the range implant though. I've found 75m to be good enough for me, especially in my Shadow. I did just upgraded to R6.1 my Epic Guided Pilot, Rosa, so just got a boost in HP.
The Legendary Guided pilot is out - can't remember her name - so that's exciting. I was originally gonna put her on my Shadow, but I think I'll put her on my Panther if/when I get her. Need to buff up the DL16 as much as possible!

It may not be as much of a crapshoot as we were lead ti believe. Thursday i was playing customs with other Void members and as we were splitting teams someone mentioned(while on comms) that i have mortars. I mentioned that it shouldn't be an issue because i do not have any of the choice implants for it. Then Friday guess what popped up for purchase with A-coins, lendgdary mortar radius. I didn't have the coins to get it, but im sure Plarium would have been happy to let me buy enough to "help me out" . |
