That's a lot of days grinding for that 5th slot. Almost makes me regret getting thost stupid gekkos for the Patton I don't use anymore

Great information, Dredd. (sigh) I really want 7 slots... Not me, I'm not even looking forward to 6 slots. I think 5 hits the right balance between scarcity and depth. Add more slots, and so many more games will go to time. The unintended, knock-on effect with that is that our rate of currency earning (Au, Ag) will then (somewhat ironically) be depressed |

ANd even MORE fun with gold weapons AND five slots! Respectfully disagree. 5th slot is a hassle. You can max your 4 slot hangar in about 10 months as opposed to 12 months for 5 slots. |

I agree with you Dredd, that 5 bots in a match is well balanced. I do however agree with a 6th slot, but only as an additional bot to choose from. Meaning your hanger will hold 6, but you can only play 5. This way you can throw in a capper or a map depending bot if you need it. It would also help with people dropping out of maps because they are not properly set up for it.

You can have the versatility in 4 slots, too (at least I do). I'm convinced this way is superior even in terms of effectiveness, not speaking about fun. Popping out others is definitely more fun for me that popping up myself. It's all about experience you've made. Ask Sabre about Power plant game we've had this weekend. We've crushed reds in ~5 min I guess. I capped ship beacon with Gal, ready to move around. However, reds kept coming from the other side, so I've spent there whole game. What was important, they kept coming and being destroyed, whatever came. I've played PDB Griffin before and I know I could simply not stand this. When I was buying Galahad, it was not an experiment. I knew exactly what I need, why I need it and it delivers exactly as expected. If it happens one day that I get one-on-one defeated by PDB Grif, I'll put my one back and I will sing for "Griffin greenhorn school of piloting". Or wait - no. I'll sign for "Galahad advanced lessons" instead BTW, I'd suggest a modification to this "trusty toolbox example" you have in your Hangar management diary. If you add two more ordinary tools, you've opened trusted 5-slot hangar. On the other hand, opening 4-slot hangar means that you find multipurpose accumulator screwdriver/drill with set of bits/borers, saw with interchangeable wood/plastic/metal blade and an adjustable wrench (+1 more useful tool I can't figure out now). I'm sure you can fix virtually anything now  |
