So, hoping you guys can do a little math or something or bring forth some new info. The other day, I encountered a maxed Stalker. It didn't have full HP, but close to full. It had it's ability on, and I hit it with a double whammy of RG16 (not maxed) from my maxed Guardian with Maverick (not maxed). I expected it to melt but it didn't. Then, my next thought was that it was a zombie mech - which has been happening a lot where I kill a mech but it doesn't die right away due to lag. Nope, this thing turned around and wasted me and walked away.

The specific damage of your RG change a lot with the modifiers. When you click on the mech how much damage it says for the RG in the summary? (Not after you click on the weapon because that's raw damage). As a reference, RG at 6.1 is a little bit above 50K. Maxed Stalker is 113,000 after the last change. In general, if both shots hit, he should die or almost...

My RG16 is at 6.2. So 17,315 per shot, 51,945 for a full mag. On the summary screen, 73,918 for a full mag. So...divide by 3...24,639 per gun, times 2...49,278 for a double blast.
Stalker is at 113,000, but with ability on, it takes 50% more damage, so 49,278 + 24,639 = 73,918.
Dayum... That is one tough mech!
Ok, next mech to max is my Stalker and I'll likely run CB12 on it at first. Or maybe RM12...hmm..

Yeah he's sturdy!! And that's not considering a pilot that can also increase the HP and implants that can reduce the penalty. I've been considering to upgrade my Stalker instead of a tank.

I think my plans for my Stalker involve GR10. I picked it up last week or so and haven't touched it. I think with the pilot implants and the Predator Drive, the GR10 dishes out crazy damage. I've been in games where one of my squad mates has this set up and his target melted in a few seconds. Don't know what it was but it was likely a light mech. Still, that is incredible firepower.

Idk, I have that weapon and I really don't like it. The DPS seems to be too low... but maybe leveled up and with implants will be better. It's remarkable how pilots and implants are critical for many of the best weapons: DL, AT and Shotgun 8 are just good without the appropriate implants, but with them are impressive.

I feel like a lot of the new weapons are underwhelming until you throw pilots and implants at them - and in the case of ATs, level the heck out of them too.

I haven't run into many players using them. In the early days I got flattened by a couple maxed Stalkers running them, but that was vs my weaker hangar. I don't really see vid or anything of the maxed crowd running them against each other. I'm curious to try running them on a high-level Stalker but I doubt it's worth the resources. As it is, I've already got Longarm 10s at 6.4. When my Stalker is strong enough to carry 20EN, I'm giving that a try. Now that Stalker's health is all beefcake, it seems like it could last a while and be a decent secondary sniper.

The reason I want to go GR10 on my Stalker is because even with the HP buff, the Stalker can be vulnerable when using it's ability. I tried it with LA8 and got summarily counter sniped cause I was doing the "stand still and aim" thing. With GR10, with is target adjust, I should be able to walk/sprint and fire at the same time and still hit my target. So, it'll be more of a long range harassing mech.

Yeah I have a feeling that is going to be a problem, but I already have the LA10s levelled and it would be a late-game secondary sniper. Ultimately my Stalker plan is pretty boring - RM12s, DL12s and AT10/12s but I'm curious to see how viable this would be before it's maxed.
