Got the Voltaic 8 RPG on my second spin. Tossed it on my Shadow for a test drive and was left highly unimpressed. The "Affects aiming" didn't really seem to do much to keep me from getting shot up. Fires slow (1 round a second) and leaves an "I'm over here!" trail to follow right back to you. Doesn't say in the stats that the effect gets any better with rank, other than the damage radius. I guess I'll find out eventually.

Thanks for the heads up! Keep us posted on the performance. I just maxed my Shadow so I'm experimenting with 16EN builds now. I sure wish I had SB8!

I've been hit with it before and the effect is not long. I think for the resources it would take to level it up, the DL8 is probably the better all round weapon.

The only use it has is against players using LA or Railgun. AI don't give a fig about targeting because when they're shooting you, it's Aimbot dead-center.
Other weapons only miss if the screen shake knocks the red box off of them to break auto lock, which is pretty rare.
