IDK, is that a good deal? Last week, and for the last year you could get 1200 A-coins for $9.99. Not they give you 800 with "200 BONUS" A-coins. They make it look like you are getting a deal, but actually you are getting 200 less.

Here are the old values....this was correct a couple days ago. The left side is cost USD, the top right side is number of A-coins per price point....the bottom right side is number of A-coins per dollar at each price point.

prices stay the same....less resources. Use to be 1200 A-coins for $9.99 the 99.99 USD deal used to give you 14k a-coins straight up. If you buy this money grab of a deal, you get 13500 for the first time, and then the "bonus" drops to 2400. Which means that subsequent purchases are 10400 a-coins for 99.99 USD. plarium is being a bunch of cheap money grabbing 「total babe」s. many spenders I know in the game are refusing to spend any longer because of this stupid stunt.

Maybe this bonus thing is a regular thing now?

Thank goodness I'm in a good stage of my gameplay! I only pick up the cheap deals and feel no pressure to throw resources at my gear any faster than I already am.

Most everything is over 6star except the DL16 i just picked up. Many of the clans out there are calling for a boycott, but many of these clans have a majority or players 5500 or more.

I won't buy these "bonus" deals. And MA will lose players, downloads and income in the long term.

Boycotts...sheesh, makes me laugh. Wallet warriors literally ditched War Robots, the papa bear extortionists for this game genre, demanded MA be more like War Robots, then throw the same 「fluffernutter」ing tantrum they threw over in War Robots because the massive amount of money they spent, is being beaten by others that will drop the value of a house as soon as they started. People get angry when games are balanced because there's no flashiness. Then when they get the flashiness, it's hot 「dookie」 and everyone else needs to "get on their level" Then when someone that can wipe their arse with more money than the previously mentioned person's entire yearly income, spends that ludicrous amount of money and drops them a peg on the ladder, then it's "Unfair! Nerf! Boycott!" The people near max, are near their max spending capacity. The people near/at max that don't buy every $100 release then spend $500 to instamax, are not the demographic the BUSINESS is catering to. Never will be. Players at the top in games like this, are only at the top while they keep spending more than everyone else. It's good 「dookie」, until someone spends more, and the actions of the company running things amounts to "thanks for the previous purchases. Pay up for the new stuff or get bent over by the people that do ð¤·ð½ââï¸".

I'm not there yet =( but I'm not in a rush. My killshot is already maxed and I have Panther and Zephyr at 6 stars, so I feel mostly comfortable with my hangar to wait for more BP and see how this evolves. Trying to think of a reason to do that, perhaps making A-coins more expensive will cause that all the other deals will look like better deals. Idk... but this new "tax" was too much for me.

Ups I wrote my post and then I saw the one from Redfiend. That wallet warriors explanation sounds sad but totally possible. I hope plarium is able to keep this thing working. I do enjoy the game but I'm definitely not planning to chase whales.

I was just thinking....with MA removed from the Playstore in Russia and Belarus, maybe the bonus change is to makeup for lost income streams from those countries. Seems logical.

Ups I wrote my post and then I saw the one from Redfiend. That wallet warriors explanation sounds sad but totally possible. I hope plarium is able to keep this thing working. I do enjoy the game but I'm definitely not planning to chase whales. Servers for games like this aren't expensive to upkeep. The devs of "Mech Battle", Djinworks, have officially abandoned development on the game outside of bug fixes and balance changes. The game has the equivalent of gen1 War robots in terms of gear, except their Boa(NEVER FORGET THE BLESSED TOASTER) is the dashbot. No new items for a little over 2 years now. Game is still running, and still up on the app store. Plarium, the company that owns Mech Arena, also owns RAID:SHADOWLEGENDS. Let that nightmare be the scale for MA. New features always come at the cost of new LAYERS of monetization. If new things cost the same in game currency as the old things, the resources players amass will cut into revenue. Pixonic made the workshop as a resource time gate. Then the casino black market. Then a retool of the workshop using the new "Every item needs it's own currency" on top of the several, several excuses to add more casino wheels. MA was great until Global. Once it went from Beta, to full launch, financial logistics takes over, and everything has to make MORE MONEY then it previously did. Otherwise people get fired so the company keeps it's cut. The game dies? So what, they already made millions of dollars off of it. The only people that lose out are the players. The company knows this, and that's why it promotes the best of the best, as the best of the best, while it's still behind a paywall. Ease up on the paywall, but nerf it into the ground, release something even more powerful, or both. The only level a game like this is ever "fair" enough to be considered "competetive" is in a lobby full of players at max level. Either all randoms Or two opposing full squads. Anything else, and one side always has a definitive handicap. A handicap the developers can tweak with their "matchmaker improvements". The people that spend incredible amounts of money in this game, are the only people that can ever maintain that requirement of maxed everything all the time. Everyone else is handicapped eventually, and goes from clubber to seal, as their interest and wallet wanes. KoalabearTurns out I'm still the same kind of person that I was when I cracked gen1 War Robots's MM. Just moved on to bigger stuff. Still want to make a real GAME like War Robots and MA.
