love this movie as a kid.! some of those older beasts were monsters ahead of their time. Plus they’re fun as hell to ride in. I was lucky enough to get to ride in one and assist in firing it in the Corps. Not for the claustrophobic. But I was in hog heaven with those things. There’s even a guy here in Tx that’s owns a big plot of land, and you can go rent some of these and other military vehicles and tear s.h.i.t. Up out there. Puts out old cars and other things to roll over and shoot. It’s pricey, but from a friend who’s been there, it’s a big kids Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory experience.

munkeeee were you actually in a Sherman? Welllll, yes and no. The area on my base I was located had a few older Sherman’s positioned as ornamentation, but you could get inside. The ones I rode in were Abrams, 3rd or 4th gen, out at the Mojave desert. So much fun. I wasn’t a tanker but I was in the field with them and they took me for a spin. Fun times
