So, the other day, there was a guy whining about another player and calling the other player a hacker. Said that the hacker was using RM12 with no reload. I didn't really believe him and thought maybe a pilot skill implant or something.
Then, today, I got killed by a guy I didn't even see. In the after death view, I saw a maxed KS with dual RM12 and he IMMEDIATELY fired both again. There's no way, right? Like how does he kill me and then immediately fire BOTH RM12s? It didn't happen just once either. It happened at least 3 times in the game.

Someone on the other side was firing non stop, an after they killed me, I saw an arachnos shooting both mortars again. According to YT, the modded versions provide unlimited ammo and more damage, so it's possible that they were cheaters (I think calling them hackers is giving them too much credit). I'm not a programmer and idk how hard is to automatically identify those players, but as far as I understand, plarium still depends on the "report cheater" button and manual review of the battle. |

I did report him, so hopefully something happens to him. He was part of a clan too...had one of those clan prefixes.

So, I encountered another player over the weekend using this. Same thing. As soon as I died and the view switches to my killer, the guy immediately does another double whammy on his RM12s. I reported him but I doubt anything will happen to him. I'm beginning to feel like the Report Cheater function is just for self gratification.

The other day I received a message letting me know that a player that I reported was indeed cheating and their access was restricted. Only happened once but means something I guess.
