Is the Gauss Rifle 10 worth the $6.99 usd offer? I see a lot of Gauss rifles in Matches. Pretty effective or are they just maxed? Offer is 3 star version.  |

I doubt it's worth it. I assume you're talking about AI when you said you're seeing it in matches, as I haven't really encountered many human players using it. AI's enhanced accuracy always makes weapons look better than they are, especially sniper weapons. At this point ArcTorrents are the only 10 energy weapon I'd put resources into. Also they seem to be on a real tear on releasing new weapons, so probably won't be much of a wait til something better goes on sale.

My experience with the 6.99/7.99 deals is that they take quite a few BPs to upgrade and get decent. You’ll get offered a lot of BP/Credt deals. I think that’s part of Plarium’s business model.
I got a Stalker several weeks back. It’s just recently got to rank 4.

I got a Stalker several weeks back. It’s just recently got to rank 4. However, the Stalker is actually useful even at its original 3 star rank. I recently got mine to 4 so it went from EN12 to EN16. WIth EN12, it could do damage with a RM12 attached. Now, I can get MONSTER KILL (4x kill in 5 seconds) when dropping mid-game with Arc 6 and Arc 10 loadout. As long as you have upgraded weapons and pilots, it can really complete even at low rank. Most other things especially weapons need to get up to Rank 5 to be viable. |
