Yeah I'm gonna sound like a child in this thread, but I meant it's the rant section so that's already half the criteria. Anyway, some guy on the wiki forum called me a 「slow」 noob for having a cossack in my hangar. That's the context.

I'm in gold but I farm with cossacks occasionally. They're so nice to use after you've been in lumbering behemoths for too long!

I will sometimes pull out level 1 bots with level 1 Ag weps and go blast away for fun. I can't even remember if I manage to kill much...it is just to do something different. So maybe that would make me a [special]ed noob as well based on the line up in my hanger at the time. And Cossacks have killed me, destriers have killed me, etc., in the hands of a decent pilot, every bot is lethal (with maybe the exception of an arty Nat...I'm not sure that bot has killed anything).

Love my Cossack. Need a better weapon for it though. Got a lvl 5 Punisher but its not too bad. Need some heavy duty shiz tho

Hm, I do have one, even equipped with a Taran. The thing is, I can't use it right. But I often see them running and jumping to the far off beacons. Pretty useful, I admit. There are some exceptions, thoug. When I'm almost at a beacon, just to see a Cossack jumping right over me and capturing that damn thing right in front of my nose...

Tarans on a cossack are good for killing geps but orkans are better for anything slower.

Jumping a lot just gets you noticed more and shot out of the air. Work on corner shooting. Find the corners you can hold at least long enough to unload. Then quickly and retreat to your next position if needed. A level 6 or 7 taran does some serious work in a hurry. Golems and pattons are plump, juicy targets. I'll frequently run circles in a pair of them and come out on top. Pick the most dangerous one and take it out first. Just stay 300-350m from the thunders. Other cossacks and vitz are harder to hit sometimes, but you'll learn where to put the cross hairs. If you find yourself out numbered and in a bad way, try to place yourself so that one red is dumping most of its salvo into another red. Use your current target or even a less dangerous red as a sheild if you can. I'm willing to take direct fire from a single molot t or punisher on a cossack while its sheilding me from most of a rdb salvo. And that's a greedy cossack pilot snatching beacons from you. |
