I figured I'd get a couple games in this morning before work, I drop in on powerplant apparently as a late addition, reds are within 400m already, I make for the nearest beacon (that's still white btw) and as I neared the beacon I'm vaporized by an oncoming bot, takes like 2 seconds to kill me... i was able to fire a few rounds off but no real impact, when I respawn he is already right there camping out..... I think I died before I hit the ground, and again on spawn #3.... I managed to get away on my 4th bot for a few moments to access and try and salvage what I can, but was killed quickly by another bot but at least I went down in a firefight and not a clubbing.
I'm at the bottom of silver III, and after a shellacking I look over the winning team and see if it was a skill based or equipment based whooping, this time it was a single silver III ranked player, but when I see a 5 slot hangar sporting level 12 weapons, a butch, a couple lancelots, a Galahad and has a max damage number over 1.6 million level 30, and a win streak of 25+ With only 38% victories, I start to wonder how he got there.....
I've got a screen capture of the hangar but not sure if I should post it..
Needless to say I was a bit ticked off that this went so bad, it wasn't even a match it was a blue slaughtering...

You got seal clubbed alright. That's what you call hard core tanking

I'm fine with losing, it's part of the game, I try and learn from losses, what did the other guys do to win, what did I do to fail and how can I adjust? But when it's a match this far tipped... damn, I can't do anything but move on, I've had a lot of tankers run through my matches, either ejecting or just sitting there, this is my first solid clubbing that I know was a result of tanking.

Yup, the losses due to the Tankers (read, 「go solo」ers) going down are bad... but meeting them on Red as they climb back up is worse. I hate it for ya, but know that we all hate it (except for the jackholes doing it) and are complaining to Pix as often as we can (some of us are, at least). Add your voice to the mix. Let them know you are not happy with this. Don't expect a response that says anything worthwhile, but just do it. The more complaining and show of disgruntlement that they see, the more of a fire under their collective butts, there will be.

It's a shame that happens but I have had that happen to me in Dead city . On the board for about an minute before getting killed .

I will send a report into pix, should I do it through the game or is there another, better way?

I suppose through the game works as well as anything.

I feel like I'm about 50/50 win lose against random 12/12s. A well piloted 8/8 hangar can cause clubbers some unexpected problems. A full squad of them will wreck you fast.

It can be rough if your teammates are off killing reds and you are the only guy respawning against a few reds. I have had this happen in Shenzen. My team all went around a flank and were routing 3-4 reds. Meanwhile, I was on the other side fighting 2 guys off the other beacon. I backpedaled towards spawn, and they killed me, when I started respawning, they were there. I lost a few bots before clearing them out, and then had to go the rest of the game in my last bot, which means I meched out a minute later. Its a bad break.

Oh how I hate being the economy of force unit. When 5 blues are on one side of the map rolling unstoppable against 3 reds, and I'm the lone blue on the *other* side of the map screening the remaining 3 reds from just scooting in and leaving us with 1 beacon (where the big blue pile of easy winners is feeling all heroic).

OP got clubbed by a tanker on the way up. But in normal matches you still get stuff like that. I'm currently in Gold I with a 9/10 hangar. I regularly see everything from Silver to Master. Depending on how much MM likes/hates me at any given time.... I notice that my Gold I is rarely at the *center* of the distribution of leagues of people in a given match- it usually is at the top of the distribution (easy match time) or at the bottom (bend over and kiss your chassis goodbye). You can *really* tell the difference between being matched against lower Gold (or anything Silver, those guys are boned), or anything Diamond (or higher, in which case I'm the one that needs the lube).

Even without tankers this can happen. If the MM decides to drops one of them legend guys down to a diamond match it pretty much ends just like having tanker in with a bunch of noobs.
