Don't judge me, I still haven't spent nearly as much as y'all have 😂. Remember, all of my previous accounts in beta were F2P. After doubling up on Arc 10, they will stay on Ares until Shadow is completed on the back burner for an assault build. Paragon will carry Dual MR12, then MR12+RG. Might switch Zephyr out for Guardian if I get a decent Carb 12 offer, and Guardian's ability bug gets fixed. Leveling attacker mechs first, just so I have platforms for the highest en caps in the game. Then intend to work my way down the weight classes, from heavies, to mediums, to lights. Light mechs have no right to be that damn expensive. Keeping mechs at 4.7 until weapons are all 6 starred. 5 star heavies have the same EN cap as 6.7 mediums, so they're easily the most accessible mechs to use if one is looking for damage output early/mid game. PS: For anyone that has, or intends to build Stalker: Level your disk launchers and use the blast radius implant. It goes from feeling like you're lobbing grenades, to feeling like you're dropping artillery 😂 Redox with DLs has been a monster kill machine. Stalker is a lot faster, and heals on kill.

Hmm thanks for the Stalker tip. I do have it but it's still sitting at 3 stars. Just upgrading it organically. I was gonna do JR8 on it eventually on the way to RM12.

That seems to be the rub with how they're running the monetization. Event's look like they'll always be $95-100USD. The early adopter package comes with enough resources to rank up whatever the newly released item is by at least 1 rank. In the case of Gauss 6, pretty sure it was the credits and blueprints to max it out, with it starting at 5 stars instead of 3. Anyone that doesn't buy the package deal at launch gets cash offers for a base rank or lower version of the item for a pocket change price, but the resources are drip fed and start from nil. They said they're reworking how mechs and weapons are unlocked because the progress path is going to be too crowded if they make every new release part of the EXP track, so that is the rub until they deliver on that. The biggest gripe right now should still be just how much resources pilots need to have sunken into them to get their full benefits.
