The clan was not fun, no one was chatting nor squadding. The only times I squadded was when I invited, and if someone accepted the invite. I don’t know, but my vision of a clan is much different. Because of this disappointment, I shut down my clan today as there just wasn’t any fun there. Anyone here that was a member who wants to discuss this please PM me, as I will not respond to threads about my decision or go public with it. Apologies if any feelings are rubbed wrong, but I did try out being a Champions League and now prefer solo.

PumpkinHeadSorry about your decision. Clan "life" can be tricky.

PumpkinHead Sorry about your decision. Clan "life" can be tricky. More like clan “no-life”….I do not want a dead clan, there are thousands of those available.

yea, i noticed that myself, seemed you and I squadded few times a day since you started it, and did pretty good too, but not alot of other participation. Im sure most join clans just for the clan benefits in the freebie section for boosters an sharts. But Ive seen folks squad together from different clans or solo, so keep my pilot name around if you ever want to squad again bud.

I feel like I let you down, PH…I’ve been hammered lately, mostly chasing upgrades &refinements to my hangar (and constant upheaval at home), not really doing as much gaming as I like - trying not to fall down into E2…trying to get where I could pull my weight.
I appreciate you letting me join - and I’m sorry it’s over

I’ve had two before my current. Just kick everybody out or pass it on? I passed my last one when they all got good, took everyone from Gold to Ex1-3, a few low Masters. Great squads when all were semi equally ranked. Many wanted to stay Ex-M1ish and find their sweet spot, almost all F2P, and didn’t wanna chase. I get it. So, gave it away.
Just curious

As someone who ran a clan for 5 years I can tell you this. The ONLY way you will get an active clan is to be on Discord. I mean you gotta camp on there if you want people to be active. You have to make other players get on too. there are no high ranked clans that do not have at least the bulk of there players squading without voice communications. It builds repour with your fellow mates and will give you an edge over other squads not able to communicate with each other in battle. Active players go where other active players are. its just how it rolls. Best of luck to you.

To get people to participate is like pulling teeth often. I ran a clan before joining KOMM and have been an officer here since joining a few years ago. Most do not realize how much NON game time and energy the leaders put in to make a clan run.

I agree that the clan was dead. But think about the lower league players thinking they found a good clan.

I used to carry my ipad to work just to deal with issues that came up. Officers messaging you about problem players or just drama in general. The amount of drama in a clan you deal with is directly proportionate to your rank. Thats one thing i distinctly remember back in the day.

To keep a cohesive team together and on the same page, to mesh the personalities, build that teamwork and you are doing it with people from across the world.. there can be other barriers to overcome to make it all work.. It is tons of work.. in the end there are life long friendships that can be made and in your own little part of the world, in your team, there can be a huge reward to be had.. Through games like this and Alpha-Wars I have friends I talk to all over the world... It is very cool when you are talking to someone in Belgium or Thailand like you have known them for your whole life, and you plan future vacations to get to see those people at some point.. In a true team/clan you do not always have to be on to play at the same time, but it is also the sharing of ideas, what works in the current meta for you and the team.. .. oh and hey, how are the kids doing.. That type of thing.. Discord is a tool to bring the team together and to get to know each other.. but it is just one of the tools you can use.. SKYPE is another that we use in the Ally I run in AW.. M. as well as conference calling those within the states at times... We also plan on meet-ups, ect.. Your "Clan/Team/Ally" is your neighborhood.. You get out of it what you put into it.. just sayin... Currently in War Robots, I play alone, AW gets a lot of my time and I play a few games in War Robots because they only take 10-minutes, while an AW battle can take hours.. sometimes a lot of hours.. Cheers..
