Nice video, but I find certain weapons like Sonics and Flames lead to Fafs having their way with Fenrir. If the Fafs stay at 300m, your build does nothing to them and they fry you with the inbuilt. Flames are very difficult to dissuade Fafs too, but I am keeping them at bay, and dropping them, with high level Plasma. A few punches in the face and they tend to go away!

flames are basically useless against fafs because of the absurd speed boost and the fact that they usually have "Evasive Maneuvers". This is only from what i have seen from videos btw, so ye

Nice video. I`ve been tempted to run Sonics on Fenrir for some close up dishing out the pain but, 1. I`d have to take Devastator off of Shell and Havocs off Ravana, and, 2. I enjoy killing Fafnirs with Hel and Scourges on it too much.

I enjoy killing Fafnirs with Hel and Scourges on it too much. I admit the range is shorter, but this will swat all fliers out of the sky, and erases Ageis shields fast. My build is now strong enough to blast Shell shields off, and give even Arthur a lot of grief. Best parts: Tarans are cheap to take high, and this thing lives plenty long enough to consistently charge NA. Ever try it? When I finally have other weapons leveled, my next deal is leveling premium modules.

Ran sonic fenrir today in ffa. Seems to be way to situational. Not mobile enough to use. Better suited to defending beacons. Usually don’t do ffa. But needed to clear that place first in 5 battles. And pix was being stingy with giving me the occasional easy match. Took me over a week.

I agree, Fafnirs was my main problem with this build. That's why the Shenzhen Night map was so lucky in that game. I ran a game in Dreadnought and I didn't do as well.

I have my Redeemer at 1.6 and my Tarans at 1.9 and 1.8. Haven't run it since high gold/low diamond though. It was fun

I am currently WSing an ember to make a Ember/Taran Giftbringer Fenrir. Sounds good! I still can't believe everyone has a Giftbringer now... I wish I hadn't MK2ed my regular Fenrir because I could have had so much more HP

I wish I hadn't MK2ed my regular Fenrir because I could have had so much more HP I think too many fail to do the math on this. Let’s say my Fenrir has 400,000 hit points, the 10% skin adds 40,000 compared to my 5% skin adding 20,000. Except for top level players at Mk3 everything, that little bit really doesn’t make a lot of difference considering what NA is doing in game now. It could help an LL player edge out another LL player but, come on, really? For regular players there is very little advantage to SE skins. BTW, this goes for Rev vs. garbage can Revs, too. Takes a lot of leveling to make any real diff.

It’s happened a lot to my Fenrir that it died when my Advanced Repair Unit had less than 4 seconds left on its recharge and there was lots of heal-able health. 20,000 extra health can be a huge difference.

I think it makes a bigger difference with a SE Fenrir due to Bernadette and any other durability boosts being based on the +10% figure as opposed to not being based on the +5% figure with a skin.

That statement is very situational, 079. Last Stand could also get on to mash the heal button, or making it to some cover in that time. When my Fenrir goes down, it has already done its job, every time. Yes, I’ll take a bit more time in battle, but the rarity of my Fenrir going down early means, to me, all good thing must come to an end. No worries!

Gonna need to see some proof of that. At 2.6, my Fenrir with 5% skin drops in with 410,000 hit points, which is still light compared to the spenders. Adv heal and Mantis keep me going a long time.

Mine lasts ages, and it is often funny to see 4 or 5 of the reds struggling to take me down when I use my advanced repair, and especially when I use my Mantis. My only weakness is titans and the blast charge weapons, because both ignore my resistance.
