Also. I JUST LOGGED IN: LET ME BREATH FFS 4 pop up sales in the $30 range for all of the got dam widgets associated with pilots. Oh boy I hear you! So many ads; looks as though they have both drone and pilot stuff in here all together. This is the kind of thing where I lose interest as I will have no idea what is going on like in War Robots. If I cannot figure out what I need to do and do it, what is the point anymore? |

They've followed Pixonic's model in only releasing very limited Legendary Pilot(s). Only one so far. Then, when everyone has spent countless resources upgrading their Rare Pilots, they'll start coming out with more Legendaries and even Specific Legendaries for specific mechs that give more than usual bonuses for specific mechs.
Meh, I'm in no rush...except maybe to get the Guided Weapons pilot for my JR6s.
TBH, I'm on the market now for another game. I feel very little motivation to play these last few days.

I do not even know where to start with the questions....I'll be back when my brain stops hurting. Yeah, feel the same. Haven't played a match today as I'm not wanting to play without pilots yet I can't commit to pilots. TBH, this doesn't feel good to me. |

Jumping the shark. I just cannot figure out why they would do it.
They have two options, which all land within the pix tool chest. One, nerf and let their big spenders gripe, or two let a majority of the player base lose interest because of the power gap. Either way, palm meet face. Most of their player base was from War Robots, and they had to understand why they left for MA. I just don’t know what to say about how idiotic it is to introduce this huge shift in power all at once. Sure the cost is astronomical to max, but the fact that you can spend that much money to become a god in the game with risk of the nerf hammer or loosing human players. I mean how fun is it going to be to get 30 kill games against only ai??
They were just getting balance in the sweet spot. More players to join. Better content. And they pushed the crazy button way too early.

I saw it coming quite awhile ago and lost patience/interest quicker than most. But even I am surprised at how fast these guys dove right into the deep end of alienating their player base. |

A maxed legendary pilot gives 40% HP and can get 100% weapon damage (40% to all, 30% to a weapon type, 30% to a specific weapon with a maxed implant). Right now the only legendary pilot boosts assault weapon damage. |

The only "upside" is that the pilot rank ups cost "Marks". The downside is the obvious bottleneck of 110 Marks per day for free.
The Implants are the worst part of it, being all-in-one a gatcha, hella expensive, and hella slow to upgrade.
They "Learned from the mistakes of the competetors" by making modules(implants) and Pilots the same thing, with the modules being another gatcha hell, on top of general resource acquisition outside of 500 A-coins and a decent amount(but not enough for asking prices or regular implant purchase) being a lottery (Crates/Fortune vaults).
The credits on the 10-20 cost fortune vaults need to be removed. The top players already spend thousands. Them acquiring free currency isn't an issue. With Scape's 29m credits for implants, a "complete" hangar of 6, 6.7 mechs with 6/7 pilots has surpassed Spectre/Inquisitor era asking price from tutorial to a single max hangar.

I got the free rare pilot and installed it on Panther with the RG boost thing. Extra 2% damage. Just kept on playing as usual. Got some new tasks done. No noticeable difference yet of course.  |

I believe the multipliers are all based off of the weapons base damage. So if base damage was 10,000, 2% would add 200 and 3.6% would add another 360 for a total of 560. You don’t get a multiplier on top of another multiplier. So it wouldn’t be 10,000x2%=10,200 and then another 3.6% on top of that. |

I find it particularly interesting that they paired the release of pilots with putting ArcTorrents on Killshot, Ares and Juggs. All paired with the Epic Close Quarters pilot at 3 stars. We've instantly gone from slow damage tanks and Carb/PC Killshots to quick kill AIs in close. Seems designed to make you feel like your hangar is utterly inadequate. Don't wait for the Legendary pilot! You can't afford to wait! Spend now! Now! Now! Now! (And then more later...)

On the bright side, whales who go out and max things right away should put their SP well above mine and I don't have to play with/against them anymore. Still have to deal with the DRG16 builds of course.

Still have to deal with the DRG16 builds of course. sadly a large part of my friends list was just over 4000 sp before pilots. Some have embraced pilots and are over 5000, so when i join a game i do not contribute anything to the outcome of the game except kills for the red team. |

The base pilot themselves is almost inconsequential without actively utilizing all of their ability slots with high grade modules. Just make sure to do the pilot dailies, as that's the only way to get the resource required to rank them up. |
