I just played a cpc game which ended by red spawning on a blue beacon my team owned, on our side of the map. All our mechs were in red territory of course. So he capped that and won. This was near the end of the game. So How can a red mech spawn right on a blue beacon in blue home territory? I don't get it. I wish I had it recorded. I just screencapped the human players in case it's a cheat. Is it a cheat or hack? I've never tried to spawn on a red owned beacon. What's up with this?  |

Just for clarity’s sake… how sure are you that they spawned there and didn’t just stay unseen until they got there? Not doubting YOU, specifically, but I have seen this come up when it was very obviously a mech that wasn’t on the minimap until it got spotted, already at the beacon.
Did you SEE it spawn there? Had the few seconds of invincibility and everything? If so, either a Hack or a bug, but either way reporting it is definitely called for. Granted, they can’t do anything without that recording; but I would get it in there, anyway.

I saw the red appear Right On Top Of the blue beacon. Not next to it, not near it, not moving. On it. It is possible a Shadow sneaked down there undetected by my whole team. But how likely is that? The simplest answer is that in fact that is what did happen, but its unusual at the least. I will message support. The Shadow after the match.  |

Yeah, only other thing I can think of is lag...like maybe the red was there but didn't show up on your screen right away. Other than that, yeah, maybe a hack or something.

It would be a complete coincidence for this to happen, but at some point in the game, everyone becomes visible on the radar. I think it's when one team reaches 80% or with 1 minute left. If that happened right when a sneaky shadow that had snuck past got on a beacon, then it would definitely look like they spawn on it. It's not inconceivable to me for this either. Shadows sneak past all the time and it's annoying AF. |
