Hi, S1E1 here. Long-time poster, first-time pollster. So in another thread there were a couple posts about the idea of eventually being able to field an "All Fast Mech Hangar." I say eventually because of course the meta requires us all to invest several slower bots first for tournament. But for those interested in the idea, it seems like a good question is what do you even define an All Fast Mech Hangar as being? I just went through the list of mech speeds and frankly was surprised to see for instance that Zephyr is actually the same speed as both Ares and Paragon. Where would place the cutoff point between fast and slow?
EDIT: Sorry I forgot to include Redox which has a speed of 16 km/h. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to edit the poll and add it in. My bad.

I’d draw the line at Panther and below. I only include Surge in the ‘fast mechs’ because of its dash. Though realistically, you almost have to include Panther as well, just because of the otherwise weakness in fire power of an all light mech hangar.

Anything over 20kph. For utility sake, maybe sacrifice the MD or Cheetah for a Panther.

Yeah, Panther's 20km/h is the minimum of what I'd consider a fast mech. Basically, anything that can maintain that speed without Sprint or Rush, which makes Paragon technically out, but then it's got both Sprint AND Rush, so it's a good substitute.
And for clarification, when I do achieve this hangar, it's not like I'm gonna run it exclusively forever. It'll primarily be used for CPC games. Heavy hitters are just too useful in TDM games where the small map sizes makes speed somewhat moot.

I'll use it as alternate beacon bot in CPC, and it can tear it up when it's got that sprint going, but when it slows down... I generally think of this hangar only for CPC too. Let's face it, you only need 2-3 bots for tourney so it's not like there's even a point to getting all fast bots for that.

Killshot, Shadow, Lancer, Paragon and M.D.. I based Paragon on its ability to get somewhere fast with two boosts. I needed a fifth so chose MD as I like using him from time to time. He moves well and hits hard enough. P!us he heals.

Paragon using both sprint and it's dash, is moving at the same speed as Shadow in stealth. I definitely prefer it over Panther as a sniper, just because I have a NEED to cut them nasty angles where people aren't expecting it. Panther, even with it's base speed, is a camper mech.
