This isn't cool. Running around to thread after thread posting nothing is just going to get you in trouble.

This isn't cool. Running around to thread after thread posting nothing is just going to get you in trouble. It's also very annoying and pointless. At least sochilli (Saltesers)' posts are humerous.

how come it says destrier under my name?... i hate the destrier im more of a gareth kinda guy. it is relative to your post count. Please do not spam posts like you do on the wikia forums though. I know you don't mean it, but try not to post 4 times consecutively like you often do on the wikia forums. Thanks.

i need help understanding how this forum works... Best suggestion is to start by reading. There aren't any rewards for posting senselessly. Use the search tool at the top to find things that interest you, take your time, flip through the different sections and get a feel for what goes on. Then, when you think you've got it just be courteous and ask nicely. Also, be aware that you can edit your own posts to add more info instead of making a new post.

Deadalready said- I actually really like Springfield. Due to the way the map spawns players there's generally only one beacon right next to spawn but the rest require running perpendicular. The city side has quite a lot of cover and allows knife fighting.
Yamantau suffers from being TOO BIG and two of the beacons are so close to spawns that attempting to capture them is a pointless exercise. All approaches are uncovered and the final nail is that attempting to capture has you marching directly at the enemy spawn. Basically lining up and walking directly into a firing line. In my opinion it severely lacks in variety as snipers just dominate with every other play style useless.
Those are my reasons though, remember this is personal opinion at the end of the day.
i disagree its a fun map because basically you have to hold the mid beacon ot makes it challenging and strategic to capture and hold which is alloyt of fun in my opinion

Learn to use the sides... Lots of cover, and can get to either their side beacon or the spawn point unhindered, then cause havoc on those poor widdle snipers. Or provide quick flanking support at the center bowl, attacking the Red side of the ramp and either completely taking out the bot that won't stop firing into the bowl or causing it to fire at you, exposing its flank to the Blue guys in the bowl... It has a bit of an advantage in Yama... level 9 is 60 Kmh. Makes it not quite as big.

I quoted you where you said that bro... Hmm, actually, it looks like maybe he only wrote the last paragraph and failed at quoting properly. I may not like the guy so far, but at least in this case he might not be lying. He telling factor is when punctuation, spelling, and capitalization go out the window.

You are correct Muhlakai... the quote was the rest of deadalready's quote from the first page, was hard to tell what went where... Which leads to: @zebra... when you reply to somebody using the quote feature, it will place the contents of the quote in a box. You can put the cursor just below the quote box and type. IF you do that it will be much easier to see what you have written compared to who you are quoting's post. If you copy and paste their quote instead, do something other than ignore grammar to differentiate your post from the person you are responding to, and old fogeys like me won't get all flustered and confused.

do something other than ignore grammar to differentiate your post from the person you are responding to ...or, you know, he just got a ban. This first one probably isn't too long, but it seems probable that he'll repeat and earn himself longer bans until it's no longer an issue. We probably don't need to try too hard on this one.

In Yamantau/Springfield i prefer to use Trail Pin gepard, it can make 30.000 damages by hitting few times every 10 seconds with good splash, that's a good reason to don't skip any map or situation imo Sorry. What? 30k? Surely you do more than that. 30k in 10 seconds from 500m in my opinion it's almost good.. i use every version of gepard (Pinata 12/12/9 - Magnums 12/12/10 - Pin 12/12/10 - Molot 9/9/8 - Spiral 10/10/10 and aphid 11/11/10) and the very best supporter is the Pin One, he could make 30k every 10 seconds by hitting from 500m, means tha i could finish off another gep in 20 seconds remaining full of health if we are on same lev v

If I'm on Springfield and our spawn point is the farm, I tried this tactic recently to moderate success: I jump into my long ranging Treb/Gekko Leo and begin marching over to the Dam Beacon. All the while I am on the hunt for usually stalkers going for beacons. I keep my eye out for treb snipers too and peck them when I can. This usually drives them into cover or behind something. Those extra seconds count as while they are behind cover, they aren't firing on our team's stalkers grabbing the other beacons.
By this time I'm half way to the dam beacon. The enemy has grabbed their city-side beacons and are starting to cross the valley. I have the high ground and I continue suppression fire which slows the overall advance onto our side. At this point, a few enemy players who know what's up realise what I'm doing and make a mad dash for the dam beacon. It is around this point that I start to take heavy damage.
If I'm not killed, I manage to get around that little bit of cover and snag the Dam beacon and I hold that position as long as I can. I can still provide some assistance to the (I guess I'll call it the stone henge beacon) middle beacon as even rhinos will come up the hill and I'll hit them in the back with treb/gekkos. By then there are perhaps 2 vs 2 bots in the area.
Has worked well a few times.

I hear what everyone is saying but Yamantau is the one I'll tend to skip, if I'm going to, because an inevitable forced open death march just doesn't float my boat. I like challenges and I know a sniper in my hanger would help in yam. Thing is I don't want to use one of my limited slots for a sniper bot. I like the duck and dive of knife fighting.

It is actually quite a fun map to play in gold tier once you get the hang of it

It is actually quite a fun map to play in gold tier once you get the hang of it I've been steadily building my hanger up and am earning gold, slowly, toward adding a fifth slot. Recently I've begun to skip yam less and sometimes I actually have a satisfying game there probably due to my bots improving. But previously I've struggled to survive the death march to get near all the long range bots on the other spawn point. Looking forward to getting better though.

Pretty sure I've made it to mid silver now as seeing virtually every bot and getting crazy mms both ways. Need another 1000 to get 5th slot and will then have close to 30,000wsp to spend. Big decisions as to what to spend it on.

Rage quit mostly but also has to do with bad internet connection
-realizing your team is full of slow heavies and reds have 4 cappers and beating us seriously in beacons
-reds that have 3 aphid users and supported by 3 hydra/spiral users...that happens sometimes and Im the favorite target
