So how far is the damage difference between SB16+TL6 vs 2xSB16?

I haven't run dual SB16 yet, though it's up there in my "want to run" builds. But, if I may extrapolate based on my experiences up to now...
I'd say the up front damage will be similar. The Overheat from the TL6 will add 50% damage to the SB16 plus it's own damage. It won't equal 2 SB16s but it will be fairly close. Plus, if the rest of your team is hitting the same target, that mech will be going down fast.
The big difference will be that the SB16 has a much larger magazine capacity. So, instead of the TL6 draining faster, you'll have two beams that do a lot of sustained damage.
I really wish there was a TL8 or something....

So how far is the damage difference between SB16+TL6 vs 2xSB16? Its actually not too different from what I have heard and seen. I have not clocked it and dont have a TL6 beyond 5 stars as i felt the core reason to upgrade was just the overheat effect. But I know others who have maxed or near maxed it think it to be close to dual SB16s. Basically its a trade off: Dual SB16: max damage right away, fastest stasis effect proc in the game SB16/TL6: max damage after overheat (varies depending on TL6 level), both overheated and stasis target General consensus is that at top end the dual SB16 is better in damage and more flexible, but not by a ton. IMO it depends on what your team needs, what you have available, and the map/situation.

What I'm actually thinking when I post this one is if it's better to put 2xSB16 on a 32EN mech or Simply put SB16+TL6 on a 24 EN mech. Now I'm thinking for 2 of a kind build on my Ares and Jugg. Both equipped with TL6+SB16.Ins't it basically a 30EN firepower on a 24EN mech?

Maybe, but don't put too high hopes on it. It'll still be a sustained damage build that won't kill things very fast.

Stasis takes longer to work as it can catch people off guard and if it worked as fast as overheat it would be OP. if you are overheated you can move to cover while the effect plays out. You cant too easily with stasis. So if dual SB16 was instant it would be a bit much. It does do it quite fast. The design for these weapons is to have a really easy to use weapon and provide support. Not be a killing machine. However, I have gotten high kills with these depending on the situation. Very easy to get hammers anvil though. I know some players who arent good with things like longarms or railguns or even missile racks since they require precision aiming and not everyone can do that. So these weapons can be quite nice for those players.

Yeah, I actually do better and have more fun with the SB16 than I do with the RG16. SB16 with RM12 on the Paragon is a hoot because you can retreat fast with the ability while laying down fire with the SB16, and as soon as your target is 46m away and in stasis, you drop the hammer on it. I'm looking forward to doing dual SB16 only because I think it would be better against human players. You can't do the stasis + hammer trick on human players too often as they catch on pretty quick. For example, I only found out about the combo after it was used on me. But, it only got me once and I immediately respawned in my Shadow and got Revenge.
