The age of homing missiles is upon us. The buff actually isn't silent, it's in the update notes. Pretty much all of the homing missiles have been buffed. For instance, spiral, hydra, and Chimera can no longer be dodged. Fixed accuracy issues with aphid, vortex, thermite. Fixed a bug with hades' built in weapon. New bot Erebus is built for homing missiles. Bulava and Kisten and Murometz for all. Methinks we are transitioning from an era of brawlers to homing missiles and snipers. Thank Gaia for our blessed orbital strikes to level the field.

Hurray for homingrockets… hydra spectres anybody 😂
Hmm the release notes say for behemoth:
“Behemoth can no longer push robots with his special ability.” I think it never could or what am i missing here. I hope they mean it cannot BE pushed by other robots while in ability because that is really annoying

Are you saying that Chimeras are a guaranteed hit no matter how close to cover someone is? I notice that orochi rockets are quite tenacious so now maybe the same code has been applied to Chimeras.

locutis, I highly doubt it. Unless these weapons get massive damage buffs, they just lack the DPS to deal with brawlers. Sure they are annoying, but people learn to shrug them off or hide until the missiles are on their long reload to strike. Plus bots are getting faster and faster, so they can close that 600m gap more easily than ever. Heck, the complete over-saturation of shields, stealth, and insane resistance means many bots do not even need cover to block missiles. Lastly, it goes without saying that if these builds are caught by a brawler, it’s game over. As someone who runs a Chimera Behemoth and recently retired a Hydra Spectre, I can confidently say these weapons are currently nowhere near meta. Their big draws are their troll value and how they have great combat longevity because they stay out of the action, not the damage. Sorry I’m a little late to the party here, but I wanted throw in my two cents.
