So i did a thing... I got him to 4-4, and ran out of credits. Any AC fans, does it work well on Zephyr?

you wont regret it. IMO, a single paired w a MR, or Carb is about a deadly as one can get. The unload speed fits perfectly w the stun ability.

Yes. IMO those two were made for each other.
OC, above, nailed it. Pair with MR 8 (or even 6 if you have to) or a Carbine, if you can, and it will do the work.
Be conscious of the ammo... that is its biggest weakness besides range. It WILL use up ammo using it while not seeing the lightning. Get used to checking it before engaging. Don't jump into a fight after just getting done with one unless you have 75% ammo regenerated.
With that out of the way... Arc 10 is a Tank killer. When used on a Zep or a Surge, it is extremely effective since you can EMP them, while positioning yourself to hit their rear and flanks. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, it is good for any close range map/area.
I actually like it on the Ares and Jugs on some maps... paired with either the MR 8 or Carbine, too, just like the Zep. Tank shields allow you to wade into the range needed to get the kills.
Also... definitely try to hit the Optimum range for the most damage. I know it changes as you rank it up, but I am fairly certain you are good as long as it is under 16 m.

I will say (since you mentioned you aren't a huge proponent of it) that I absolutely LOVE the Dual Arc 10 Zephyr. The range can be an issue and it's not the be-all, end-all bot like the Dual RG Panther, but with just a little bit of cover to move around in, it's the most deadly ambush assasin ninja out there! Yes, dual MR8s or even the Dual Carb12s on a max Zephyr is probably more versitile over all, but there is something about going "Palpatine" on the enemy over and over and over! Incredibly satisfying. lol

I ran my first cpc with This set-up. It did well, but probably would have done better if I had more experience getting around Mesa Verde with a Zephyr without dying. Not sure if i should leave the setup the way it is or if i should move the AC10 to my Ares because he is more durable.

Fair enough... you aren't the only one that likes it... I just preferred the hybrid loadouts. That said, I have a major hangar change-up to do soon, and may give it another go. Read a few folk that think that the last update changed AC 10 in some way... for the better. I figure I will revisit that build and make sure I wasn't just fooling myself.

AI Zephyrs seem to just KNOW when you are in range whether they are looking at you or not! I swear sometimes their ability has cooled down faster than normal, too... but yeah, I really don't run that build on CPC at all.
Hell, I don't even run Zep on CPC, period, unless I am squadding and didn't have time to change out my hangar.

I've ran the AC 10 + SB 2 a few times on a 5* Shadow and it definitely has potential. The SG 4 variation was absolutely my goal once I upgraded my Shad to 6.
My goal would be, on a max Shadow, to run AC 10 + 6. Just go all out and embrace the dark side... or, as I imagine Deadeye would say, "go all Palpatine on they 「multiple dookie delivery chute」."

I really like it against AI Zephyrs on CPC actually. The key is knowing that the other team has an infinite amount of them. If you play like every opponent is going to be a Zephyr or Surge, then you'll be much more cautious. lol I like to stand around corners at key vision points or choke points with lots of cover. The best place for this (that I can think of) is center beacon near the stairs on the desert city map. I've got photos of me with 13 kills in the Zephyr on CPC (from today actually). It's too much fun to be legal.

You need to run it like a spider. You wait for your prey to come into YOUR web. ideally, you hang back and let your AI push a little bit further ahead (not too much, mind you...just far enough to engage and temporarily distract the enemy. The goal is to get close enough to use the EMP on some or all of a group and then go to town. Your set up can really only handle 1-2 enemys at a time, so you definitely need to hang back and keep to the shadows. Also, after you engage and win a confrontation, you need to look around and see where your blue AI are. If they're dead or hanging back, you need to back pedal like crazy to a new ambush zone. As to getting around a map, wall hug and time your advances VERY carefully. Make full use of the mini "sprint" every mech gets. Save it for when you are ready to make a move. It can save your life. Also, use elevation (or negative elevation) to help you with cover. Some maps are much harder to get around than others, but most maps have a couple spots you can set your web and chew through mechs at your leisure. Even the Mech Arena map, has them. Just need to experiement and play with the angles.

I run around like a swarm of bees is chasing me.. the ice/snow map I dont know how I end up in places on that map, I knew I could get high on some of the peaks but I was all over on it the other day above everyone shooting them when they walked out in the opening leaving the spawn from behind them. but yea if you wanna run a few matches and let me know how that goes.. be cool and thanks!

AT 4-6 TL6 5-6 Did well on Zephyr, but still didn't have the finishing power that the AT with the MR8 had. I only had a game or 2 with the setup, and on a different map it may yeald better results.
