Well, the Event Rush is here and TBH, I can't be more disappointed. 1 Event Token for finishing an event?? On my first pull, with the free token they give, I got 300 KS blueprints. Wuhoo... And, if you want to buy tokens, it's $35 CAD for 5 measly tokens! Are you kidding me? This feels a lot like Pix tactics to me. Then, I finally saw the stats for the Disk Launcher 8. It's basically a slightly upgraded RPG6 that has lock on and therefore more shots will land. Can't call this a side upgrade to the MR8 at all. What a let down. I'm sure it'll be very useful when ranked up and leveled up, but come on...all that waiting for a RPG that can lock on?? I stockpiled over 12k A-coins....I guess I should just spend it rushing a couple of mechs...but, none of my mechs are close enough to max for a rush to be worthwhile. Oh well... Buy a Railgun? ;-) Already have 2 and am only using 1. Gotta max my Panther, Guardian or Paragon first... but still reluctant to splurge spent my carefully hoarded A-coins. |

Hard to imagine me saying this... but hoard those A Coins. Better versions of the DL, plus the possible larger variants of the Jav and MR are on the horizon. All of which will move to the Progress bar after their event introduction. I would take higher DL EN cost variants, or MR 12 as far up as I could as soon as I get one... and now that I just maxed my Guardian out today, that's my only goal. If it turns out that my plan won't work for whatever reason, I will have the resources to work on something I already want maxed, like Shadow, MD, or Panther.

Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. Take forever and a day to save up those A-coins, even with a little buying of the 500 A-coin deal occasionally. But, it only takes an instant to spend it.

I'm hoarding a-coins at the moment too, as well as credits. I'm in the 14-15k range and we'll see if that's enough to get me what I want when everything is released and available. I have just over 1m credits and could start to move to max my KS (double RM12s, teehee), but there's no rush as my hanger is just fine rn. Competeing at the highest levels right now seems to only require 1 maxed heavy EN mech for double RGs. Everything else is just gravy. I beat TOSS this morning on the desert city map stealing center and holding it with the RGPanther. His AI couldn't help him take it back.

The only mech I feel the urge to upgrade right now is my Shadow. It's my only non R6 mech right now. Ranking it up will give me a boost in HP and add 2EN, but it's freaking expensive and I don't know if it's worth it. I WAS waiting on the DL8, and if/when I got it, I was gonna rank the Shadow up. But, seeing the disappointing specs on the DL8, I don't know if I want to. Even if I max the Shadow to 16EN, dual DL8 won't do that much more damage than dual JR6 thanks to the JR6's 30% change of critical. I was thinking of ranking up to do MR8/JR6 but that doesn't seem all that important right now.
I guess I'll throw a few levels at my LA10 for now when I need to spend some credits.
