I don't look in the chat rooms often but lately, no matter what room I go to, the big news is hackers. Either people complaining of being one shot killed or people bragging of being a hacker. I've reported a few to the Bug Reports channel on Plarium's Discord and when I did, I saw a number of other similar reports. Has anyone done this too? Does Plarium do anything? Seems there's an easy access hacking tool, and if they ban players, these people just create a new account.
I haven't seen any hackers yet and that might be due to the MM and my squad power. At my level, it's the DRG16 players that make my life miserable.

Yeah it's, apparently, a huge problem.
I haven't seen any official word on it yet. Nor have I come across a hacker, personally.
I have seen tons of videos and posts about it, though.
I feel like they should be trying to safeguard against the hacks rather than focusing just on banning folk... hopefully they are, but again, have not seen any official word on it. Also, again, the whole lack of communication issue from the Devs/PR folk rears its ugly head and leaves me feeling bad vibes for the future of the game. You would think that so soon after global release that they would be on top of this 「dookie」, both the actual hacking AND the community outreach. |

Reading a post on one of the FB groups it was reported only new players will see the hackers as long time players run on a different version to the apk that has been altered and is freely available,and yes apparently it is a huge problem for Plarium and they are attempting to code anti cheat systems into the software.The accounts that are using the hacked software are getting deleted as soon as they confirm cheating but that player just starts a new account and is back in the game.
If you look on YT the amount of videos showing the various hacks are growing daily and show flying bots,one shot kill Lance's and no cool down MR's among other things.This has caused a delay to the next update as the developers are working trying to stop their apk from the hacks.

Gotta say, I'm not very encouraged by any of this. They should release any info they have in-game through their news feature and make sure we know they are doing what they can, if anything. "We are aware of the problem and thank you for your patience..." etc. But if all they are doing is FB, there are a lot of folk that don't use FB and definitely don't check MA's posts out.
Just pop that 「dookie」 up in-game like they did when they told us they were taking 2nd copies.
Sheesh.

I went to their official forums and holy 「dookie」, the first 3 pages were nothing but hacker complaints. They better get their 「dookie」 together FAST.

It was said that there are some accounts climbing the divisions due to players not reporting them and of course with winning every game you will rise quickly in the ranks anyway.Plus if the player wants to use that account seriously they may only use the hacks against all AI and play normal if other real players are in the match. From that it would seem accounts don't automatically flag as suspicious like Mech Battle did,I can't remember if War Robots accounts are monitored as it's been years since I played that. |

Just been notified of a new update and see they have intergated player reporting, obviously trying to combat these hackers in a quicker way.
