Yesterday I decided to boost Lancer really good. So I became a whale for five minutes and brought him up a rank or two. A couple days back he was rank 3, now 5. Looking forward to using him Up On The Roof, like the old song, with Jav6. Never have I ever spent that much at once on a game. But flock it. Lol. If you can't have some fun with it, what good is it? Lol. I doubt a Lancer will be labelled p2w. ;-)

I took my MD to 6 * today, was a fun couple of runs with you, btw! I think there are very few people that will call you out for a whale for doing so... but if they do, OWN that 「dookie」! Say "hell yeah I spent money on my steroid-fed cricket... whaddayagonnado about it?"  |

I had ranked my Lancer up yo R5 in my old account. It was great fun for awhile, trolling reds from places they couldn’t see or get to. But then it got to a point where that’s all it was good for, except everything else began out powering my javs and they were barely scratching the paint, and as soon as I came down to help with beacons it just got melted. In fact, by that point all my mechs were getting melted quite regularly, which is why that account ended up down the toilet. I’m way too far behind the curve now in my new account to start dumping resources into mine again, and being sworn F2P now that’s pretty much impossible anyway. Maybe you won’t suck as bad as I and you’ll have better luck. I don’t expect it will fare any better these days, especially with the ridiculous firepower maxed out mechs are carrying now.

Here is a quick video I did of my R5.1 Lancer on yesterday's tournament map. I think Javs need a buff, mine are maxed.

Kind of why they're so prominent in lower brackets against lower HP totals. Good thing 6.1 can upgrade to Mortar 8, and 6.7 can run mortar 10. |

Kind of why they're so prominent in lower brackets against lower HP totals. Good thing 6.1 can upgrade to Mortar 8, and 6.7 can run mortar 10. Game needs a Jav 8 or 10 ;-). It's kind of like how Arc Torrents are Shotgun 6 and 10, pulse cannons are one half of Auto 6 and 8. Carbines are the other half of what Autocannons can do at 8,10 and 12. Railgun is LA 16. Same function, different caveats. |

apologies if I keep referring to Javelins Racks as JR instead of Jav. I know when I first started, I was calling them Javs...but recently, I was made aware that JAV is short for Japanese Adult Video and that kinda spoiled it for me! Now, whenever I see Jav, all I hear in my head is "ee ee eeee aiiiii ee ee eee aiiii" in high pitched chipmunk types of voices.

Remember, it was only so long ago that people were getting demolished by RM 8 in low tiers by the AI. Aiming RM above 60M is more map knowledge and reading the minimap. Compared to JR's lock and loose, it's a rocket science. Went back to the nuzlocke because the time spent on that account> the $30 I spent on the scrub account with the Zephyr. Currently focusing on getting the Railgun, then R5'ing a bunch of weapons. Can't wait for RM8 Lancer lol |
